Hi everyone

I'm considering a 3rd child (my husband will probably say no, but I'm putting together my case!!!).

If you have 3 or more children, what are you age gaps please?

First was twins then 4yrs for third. We were hesitant to have another but I wanted to have one baby as the twins were shall we say full on tiring.
I lost my baby weight in months and further weight with the twins as was so tired to eat and slept when they did.
Our single baby was a dream after twins I would have had more 😉

Such a good gap as twins in nursery enjoyed mat leave with our singleton.
They’re great together all girls and so close with each other.

I have a family member who has a 10 yr gap so difficulty with activities and holidays due to age differences.

Good luck OP

4 years - struggled with secondary infertility, we were aiming for 2.5 years. But actually it worked out really well an I loved the larger gap. DD could dress herself, read to keep herself amused while I was sorting nap time...

2 minutes (twins, obviously!)

3 years - we actually thought we'd get a bigger gap after struggling with ttc issues last time, but then got pregnant 1st cycle.

I'm a fan of relatively large age gaps, but obviously depends on what age you have your first if this is feasible.

Sorry I pressed send too soon, meant to say we're trying for dc3 now so the gap between dc2 and dc3 will be at least 19 months, although it took us over 2 years to conceive dc2 after dc1 hence why the big gap.

21 mths between 1st & 2nd
17 mths between 2nd & 3rd

17 months
14 months
15 months
19 months
15 months
28 months
32 months

That’s erring on the generous side for ease. DC1 was a couple of months short of her twelfth birthday when DC 8 was born.
