I don't mind Being or Waffle! They're a nice change of pace from paw patrol... Ds is obsessed with mayor humdinger and sid the pirate 🤣

SunshineAndFizz · 28/04/2023 21:16

Cocomelon.

I have an irrational HATRED for it.

TeamSleep · 28/04/2023 21:17

Bing! Came to my mind, mine are luckily past that age now but he just whines and has appalling grammar, it used to get on my nerves. Mr Tumble brings back feelings of morning sickness whenever I see him so I can’t watch that either!

Cocomelon is the work of the devil! Can't stand it!

Errmmmmmmmmmmm · 28/04/2023 21:24

Peppa pig the winy little runt (literally) and Bing Bunny do my head in!

WitchesCauldron · 28/04/2023 21:27

Bing's a bloody cry baby. Only saved by the tones of Mark Rylance.

CatchHimDerry · 28/04/2023 21:30

I’ve never watched this, or heard of it, until it was on at a house I was visiting and after an hour and a half of it I was at my wits end

Baby Jake

Hell will freeze over before that is ever on in our household

WitchesCauldron · 28/04/2023 21:41

On a different note, I used to love Tinga Tinga -Tales from Africa. Throwing it back a bit there

SquidwardBound · 28/04/2023 21:41

I refuse to put peppa pig on. I hate it.

WeWereInParis · 28/04/2023 21:47

I blocked cocomelon on our Netflix account and told DD I didn't know why it had disappeared.

Onlyahalfbottle · 28/04/2023 21:49

@SquidwardBound I had to reply just to say you are absolutely right about Gecko's Garage being the child friendly version of salad fingers, thankfully we've moved past it now (hopefully) but you are so right!

I have a bit of a soft spot for baby jake can't bear Waffle though, Mrs Hobbs is right about that family!

Surroundedbyfools · 28/04/2023 21:55

In the night garden…. That can get so far to fuck. Whoever came up with that was clearly off their tits.

secretmumoffour · 28/04/2023 21:57

Me tumble and Justin's house! OMG when my first two were small, they had a Mr tumble doll that was supposed to talk (but didn't) until two years later I brushed it and it stared singing!!!

OneFrenchEgg · 28/04/2023 22:10

My teenagers are obsessed with Bluey! I thought I was past all that stuff. Used to love the Sportacus/Lazy Town phase.

TheWayTheLightFalls · 28/04/2023 22:10

Another one for Cocomelon. Why oh why. It doesn't even rhyme.

Ms Rachel. How has that nasal twat and her perky husband and perfectly curated bunch of multi-culti hangers on not been mentioned yet?

Walkacrossthesand · 28/04/2023 22:14

@TheWayTheLightFalls I just came on to say Ms Rachel - you're not alone! Those fake wide eyes! And why doesn't her husband shave properly before a camera closeup? 😡

babakeri · 28/04/2023 22:14

Bluey! It's banned in my house.

My son changed behaviour only watching it for two days.

Terrible influence.

Kitcaterpillar · 28/04/2023 22:17

I've only seen Bing once because I found that small, mostly undrawn character very sinister. Why is there a massive rabbit(?) and a sort of half-drawn little shadowland creature?

Snugglemonkey · 28/04/2023 22:22

I have a 6 year old and 5 month old. I will definitely be far more cautious with what the baby is exposed to. I am as fucking hated the whining of Bing and just the whole attitude of Peppa pig.

So far, she has only seen a you tube guy who does tech reviews, Dennis and Gnasher, Power Rangers, Bluey and the minions. She is not interested in any of them. Thankfully. When she is bigger, I will do some kids TV watching alone so I can pick things to direct her to.

I do remember thinking Ben and Holly was alright. Are there still Powerpuff Girls?

I used to watch that sometimes with dc1 and we loved it.

HighlandDays · 28/04/2023 22:27

Has anyone ever come across "Steve and Maggie" on YouTube Kids? God it's toenail curling, and "Steve" makes Mr Tumble/Justin look normal.

Also agree re Baby Jake. They've got 10 children and it's meant to be all blissful. As if!!!

DrHousecuredme · 28/04/2023 22:31

Oh yes definitely Bing! The whiny little git had a tantrum about wanting to sit in a fire engine when it was needed to do some actual work in today's episode.
This is, apparently "A Bing thing".

Apart from that I quite like kids tv but now my ds has moved on to those YouTubers who talk absolute rubbish and shriek at you for no apparent reason...I loathe them with a passion!

TheresNoTelescreen · 28/04/2023 22:34

Timmy Time drives me insane. Especially the episodes with no narration so it's just random noises when you're not actually watching it.

Steve and Maggie is totally brilliant and I won't hear a word said against it!

Blessedbethefruitz · 28/04/2023 22:41

Blippi is the absolute worst. Oh the things I would do.

Caveat - we only watch songs for littles on YouTube, that one video - but never in a million years would I have pegged the blonde man as Ms Rachel's husband. That's a very odd pairing to me...

On the other hand, octonauts is obviously the winner. But I'm not averse to paw patrol and peppa pig or even cocomelon. But blippi...
