Wondering if anyone has any advice for dealing with this. DS is 2.5 and has never really had nappy rash until now. It's clearly causing him a lot of pain, and I don't really know how to help. It's to the point where he's shaking and crying every time we have to change him, and screaming when the wipes or flannel touch his bum. We're using cream and bathing daily to try and help it heal, but I feel awful that he's so traumatised by the whole thing, it's horrible to see him literally trembling with fear 😔
