It’s difficult to find a happy thread here so I’m plonking it here.

Parenting is difficult. We have amazing children and it changes your whole personality.

Because we are parents we need extra happiness beyond our children.

Comment me one happiness in your life. The more unusual the better.

My happiness is that I think I’ve taught my cat to say hello …

I have a real child. Not just cat children

On my day off I make a nice breakfast.. Home alone it is pure heaven!

I got a new coat today. It’s so warm and cosy. And it was half price in the sale.

i got a discounted primark cost that I was proud of. I look like a marshamallow but it’s lovely

First thing in the morning when the house is quiet to sit on the sofa , cuddling with my dogs with a nice cup of tea . Absolute bliss.

One of our dogs likes to have her head on a cushion, she’s likes her comfort . As dogs do , she’s pawed and nosed it to suit her .

I've started playing Pokémon red on my DS. Reminds me of being 10 years old. Makes me happy.

My two year old is swapping his cot for a big boy bed on Saturday. I can't wait to show him his new Peter Rabbit bedding. He'll be so excited 😬

I've booked a week off at the end of March. Absolutely desperate for a break. I've just booked a massage. Can't wait!

I managed to construct a world book day costume entirely from clothes we already owned and fancy dress items I've made for previous fancy dress events!

I started a new job in October and I absolutely love it- been waiting my whole life for it really. And it's term-time only so I get time with my little guys too!

@slithytoveisascientist pokemon makes me happy too! I wish they'd announced the old games for the switch but since they didn't ivestarted an old zelda game instead :)

@Rustyredcar I totally get that. Now that my daughter is getting older it’s a lot easier

Every morning my darling husband takes the kids downstairs, makes their breakfast, chucks them in front of the TV and brings me up a big coffee before getting ready for work. It makes me so happy that I get an extra 30 mins in bed to come round and caffeinate before facing the chaos of the nursery run 🥰

The moment I put my 18 month old down for his nap, and shut the door. The house is silent, I spend 45 mins doing housework and then 45 mins watching a TV show or listening to a pod cast in peace with a coffee. The silence, the peace, the chill. Those small moments in time are my dream 😂

Or any car ride on my own 😅

@slithytoveisascientist I don’t have a DS but I’m obsessed with the games on my phone. Maybe I need to get one!
