Nightlight for three year old recommendations

Nosleepclub13 · 25/10/2022 21:49

My three year old has suddenly become very scared of the dark. Im after a light that stays on all night but isn't going to cost me the earth to run! The one he has now, the batteries cost a fortune (can't remember what they are off top of my head, but not AA/AAA)

Sort of reluctant to get a plug in one with energy prices as they are but if I need to then I need to.

Any suggestions welcome!

Plug in salt lamp or something else that emits a night red/amber glow, so it's not too distracting?

I have this one^ I leave it to plug in and charge during the day and it can last up to 10 hours during the night. It’s really handy and there’s three brightness settings so it don’t have to be too bright

Hi I bought my child this one mainly because she used to unplug the plug in ones lol but she has got on well it. It charges on the plug in pad and is portable. It has a handle they can carry it with and it won't break if dropped. She sometimes picks it up and comes into our room at night if she's unsettled. It's £30. :)

We just bought rechargeable batteries from Amazon and used a battery powered one

My children had a little plug-in nightlight, it's still going 12 years later, in the spare room so guests can find the bathroom door! I'll try to find a link for it. It only comes on when it gets dark.

I couldn't find the actual light we bought but did find this. It's got calming colours!
