2 years 8 months. Nightmare when they were a baby and toddler but fine after that

CoalCraft · 05/06/2023 11:41

20 months. Worked well for us.

DemonicCaveMaggot · 05/06/2023 11:46

Two minutes.

Very difficult when they were babies, but once they were walking everything got so much easier. Holidays and activities were better as both the same age so no having to juggle where we could go and what we could do for different age groups, and school was simpler as in the same grade so field trips, camps, homework etc. were all the same.

3y 11m. Too big and I'm quite regretful that they will always be at such different stages. DH took ages to get around to agreeing to ttc, then it took ages to conceive, then genetic issues messed that one up so we had to start again. But I love having proper baby bonding time while DC1 is at school.

Just over 4 years between eldest and DTwins. longer than we were aiming for, but all worked out for the best especially as there were 2 babies! Really really useful that eldest was fully potty trained, could dress herself, amuse herself for relatively extended period when needed.

Next one is due when DTwins will have just turned 3. Bit nervous about that if I'm honest, potty training is not going well and they still fight over my lap/cuddles! We assumed it would take a while to conceive again but it didn't....

2 years and 2 weeks but at almost 15 and 13 now I'm incredibly tempted to try for another one!

Babdoc · 25/07/2023 04:44

16 months. Got all the nappies/sleepless nights/teething/tantrums out of the way in one fell swoop.

RunyoucleverDoctor · 25/07/2023 04:49

12months between 1st and 2nd.
14 months between 2nd and 3rd
18 months between 3rd and 4th
16 months between 4th and 5th

Ambi · 25/07/2023 04:57

4yrs 9m. Needed a decent gap to adjust to parenting despite DC1 being an easy baby.

PretzelKnot · 25/07/2023 05:09

16 months and 22 months. Very tiresome in the first few years, but now it’s brilliant.

Greenfree · 25/07/2023 09:43

Based on my niece's, nephews, cousins etc they all work full time if not at uni or around 20 hours if at uni

Greenfree · 25/07/2023 09:44
