What time do you collect your child from nursery?

More for those who have children who do PM sessions or full days. I'm planning to put my child in and just interested when others collect their child

Between 5 and 5.15 usually. Full days, 5 days a week. Starts at 8am.

5:30 most days. He can stay until 6 so it just depends but often we will have taken DD to a club or activity after school, work outside the activity and then wheel back to pick him up on the way home.

If I am working from home 5.20pm ish. If I am in the office, 5.55pm (nursery closes at 6pm).

Today 4pm because of the heat!

I aim to get there around 4.30. Some days it can be 4 but rarely!

When my first started, I put her in 10-3. Now they both go 8-5/5:15

Around 5:15- nursery is across the road from my office

Mine is at a school nursery (30 hours) and pick up is 2.45 for full day children, 3.15 for afternoon only.

6, or just after, and I hate leaving him until then (he’s there at 8am) but I work compressed full time hours so he is ‘only’ in for 3.5 days. But we have to commute back from work (I can’t even do pick up as I wouldn’t make it, I do drop off, DH picks up) we have no family help whatsoever as they live miles away.

Ive been having serious guilt over it, but I’m hoping it’ll get easier.

Between 5:15-5:30pm, she usually is in around 8/15-8:30am. Closer to 6pm on the two days a week I’m in the office 😔

About 5 but I work reduced hours to facilitate this.

Pick up around 530-545 and sometimes after 6 if I run over with work or have something to do after. I don't feel guilty at all as the fees are so expensive and they are open until 630. He's very rarely ever the last kid there. Maybe only once. I think some parents come just before closing. Just use their service that you pay for, as you need, within their opening times.

Normally between 4:30 and 5 if I’m WFH. On my day in the office each week it can be closer to 5:15, but never later.

2 year old. 3 days a week. DH does drop off an pick up. Goes 8:30ish to 17:30ish, depending on DH’s work.

Drop her off at 7:30 and collect her as close to 5pm as possible. Nursery open til 6pm but that's her bath time. Week days are hard cos we miss her but know she's being well looked after and we're working to do nice things with her so it's all worth it

I finish work at 4 and nursery is only 5 minutes away, but I don’t pick up til 4:45/5:00.
DS gets very cross of he’s the first of his friends to be collected 😀

About 4.30 so she's had her teatime snack and play in the garden, I can be there for 4.10 but she gets cross! She's dropped off about 8.

DS does 8am - 4pm

I can leave him until 6, but one day I pick up whilst doing the school run - around 3.30 (then I work later into the night) other nights I pick up about 5.

About 5:40. I finish at 5 and it takes 30-40 mins to get the the nursery.

Collect 6pm in term time (they do 8-6pm). But during school holidays (we are teachers) they do 9-4pm. They're in 5 days a week. Costs a fortune!

Nursery was open until 6 but we picked up at 5pm so dinner bath bed at 7pm wasn’t delayed.

Drop her at 8:15ish and collect at 5:30ish 3 days per week (pay from. 8-6). She has done those hours since 19 months old and likely to remain the same until she goes to school.

Between 5:30 and 6pm. Drop off at 7:30am

She's usually there 8-5 so I can work 830-430
