@Curlymam88 aww bless her. How's Leola's sleeping pattern! Josiah seems to fidget a lot around 3am and last for about an hour or so. He is currently awake.
Aww yes you are quite far from me sweets.

@jadey1991 she sleeps all night. We had just over a week of her being up all the time but that's passed now thankfully. She usually has her bottle about 7.30 and she does a few laps around her cot and then finally finds a spot to sleep. Usually around 8. She sleeps right through and I have to wake her then at 7.50 to go to school. Is josiah still awake for a few hours at 3am?

@Curlymam88 aww that's good u have her in a routine. Josiah will sometimes wake up and stay at 3am. He could wake up at 3am and go back to sleep around 5am.. not good at all but hopefully that will change.. quick question is leola on powered milk still or is she on cows milk whole milk?

@jadey1991 shes still on formula at the moment. I guess she could switch soon. They say from the age of 1?

@Curlymam88 yes that's correct hun. I wonder if Josiah would prefer cows milk to formula.. I'm still breast feeding. He does drink formula now and then not mainly breast.

Hi @tashx hope you're doing ok, I'm glad things seem to be getting better now. Jesse looks so cute with his cheeky smile. I find Leola the same, I can usually leave her in her room after I change her to wash my hands but not any more. She's crawling after me...and she's fast!!

@jadey1991 I think once they're eating plenty of solids and getting all the nutrients they need from solids they can have full fat cows milk. How many feeds is he having currently? Leola sometimes has 3 or 2. Shes not really bothered about milk when she wakes up even though I still try to give her some before the school run. Maybe 3/4ounces she has. Sometimes she has one before her afternoon nap but sometimes she doesn't and then her main feed is before bed.

@Curlymam88 I usually breast feed Josiah 2-3 times a day(morning lunch and bedtime)..
Then throughout the day he is eating solids and juice in his sippee cup

@tashx we are going beginning of December. Look at his little face doesn't seem bothered at all? How was he with santa? I dont think Leola is going to live him. 🙈

Hi everyone it's 1st of December!!! I just turned the calendar over in the kitchen and burst into tears. This time a year ago today I was making my way to the hospital for my steroid injections for the babys lungs ready for my planned c section on the 3rd. Babys birthday is on the weekend!!
I'm feeling very emotional at the moment. I dont think I've had the chance to sit and think how I've felt about the whole experience in the hospital. But thinking back now on the day it was hard. I was woken up every hour for 2 days...AND NIGHTS to have my blood sugar taken and the steroid injections x2 24 hours apart. I honestly felt like giving up and going home at that point before the baby was even born. I was so tired and an absolute mess. C section went to plan though and then baby ended up in the baby care unit. Which was another hard part.
Just thought I'd share with you lovely ladies as the only response I had by text from my lovely partner was 'its mad its gone quick hasn't it, ah I bet' when I said it was hard going 🙄
Anyway, baby birthday is on the weekend. I'm so excited and thinking forward to that.

I can't believe that their first year has almost gone. It's been such a whirlwind and I'm not surprised that you're feeling emotional about things, especially if you didn't get a chance to fully process the experience at the time. I keep looking back in my diary and seeing all the appointments I was going to this time last year and can't quite believe that he wasn't in our lives a year ago! For me the year has gone by in a blur and it's crazy that he's now a little human that crawls around, trying to walk, into everything and communicating in his own way. If you weren't emotionally affected by the whole experience I think there'd be something wrong with you 😂 hope you're ok and are planning something lovely for the weekend x

@Curlymam88 heyyy hun, so lovely to hear from you.. it's so funny that you are mentioning all this. I was going back on the threads and I was thinking that we have all come along way. Out of everyone I'm sure you was the first to have little leola.. what a true blessing she is. I was speaking with my partner last night about my birthing experience and it's something o don't want to repeat.
Hun you have come along way and your very strong. The struggles us women go through. It's so shocking how fast this year has gone. When I look back at my experience I'm like"wow did this really happen.. then I look at Josiah and I'm like yes it sure did"

Have you got anything planned for the weekend?

@burtle4 I totally agree with you. It has been a blur.. everything is happening so quickly. I was looking at my appointments too haha...

@burtle4 it has been a blur. A tired blur 🤣 I had a little cry this morning but im doing OK now...until her birthday is actually here then ill probably be a blubbering mess again 😄

@jadey1991 yes leola was first born on here. We are having a quiet day Saturday for her birthday, with visitors andopen presents, play with her toys and put a little buffet on for visitors then Sunday we are going to see santa and feed reindeer which I'm excited about doing myself 🤣 didn't have anything like that when i was younger, I remember seeing santa in the local market and that was that 😀

Happy first birthday Leola! Our first baby of the group to turn one, and looking absoltely adorable! Who's next? Dexter's birthday is next Sunday 11th, we're taking him to Longleat on the Saturday and then having a quiet day at home with extended family coming over for tea and cake, will be a very different day to a year ago!

@burtle4 aww so Dexter is next... josiah's birthday is on 15th December.. we will be having a chilled day and having family visit but that's all.
