@JW2021
Jesse is 20lbs
So don't worry
He doesn't eat much either

Decadesbcun · 10/10/2022 19:52

S is around 19.5lbs but think he’s lost a little as the dreaded D&V has hit our house :( well him mostly, I’m fine so far!
I think he seems quite small for his age but he’s following the 50th centile so must be ok. Not sure on his length but he’s always been a shortie since he was born.
@Curlymam88 pumpkin picking was fun until he exploded his nappy through his clothes 💩

Hi @Curlymam88 ah the colds are relentless aren't they, glad your getting over it now though! Yes we're all good thanks I've been a bit absent minded lately, just super forgetful I think because we have so much on atm 😅 aw thankyou yes quite alot of people have said he's my double....out of all our children I'd say oscar looks most like me atm 😊💙 Leola looks so beautiful with her smile and perfect top knot! She will make a super cute witch. It's funny how different they all are oscar has 8 teeth now and 9&10 look like they won't be far behind.....it definitely helps with his eating and he loves his tooth brush! lol Yes it's a sit and spin and a great buy.....its from 18months and we bought for our other son last year age 2 however oscar loves it......I sit him on it and he happily plays with the middle part and I occasionally spin him and he sometimes spins himself but it can get a bit lively as he tries to stand on it! Great Xmas pressie though! crazy how quick their 1st birthdays are all coming around! x
@Decadesbcun aw s has got the best spot infront of the TV! Glad your both doing well.....in the night garden is a fav in our house too aswell as cocomelon, peppa pig and baby TV. Oscar isn't clapping yet (I sing happy and you know it clap your hands and I clap his for him 🤣) but he's just started to randomly wave but won't perform on request! lol aw great pics of pumpkin picking apart from the poo explosion 😅
@Jw2021 I'm so sorry to hear the devastation of the hurricane, must have been so scary! And glad your all well and safe ❤ In hard times like that the only silver lining is the community pulling together x Jack is looking bigger and I'd say 20lbs is a nice weight......I havnt weighed oscar properly but my scales say 18lb I'm not worried though as he's not wasting away 🤣 and is short but stocky build.
@jadey1991 aw thanks.... josiahs grown alot too 💙 sorry you've all had covid but much later than alot of others so you've done really well keeping it at bay so long! aw blaze is super cute......you've definitely got your hands full with a baby and a puppy together 😮 but they will grow together and be best of friends! We're unfortunately at the other end with our elderly staffordshire-bull-terrier he's 15 and a half years old and loosing control over his bladder. got blood tests this week to try and help but we know he's very elderly and that hard time will be upon us soon enough! Loved having our dogs though they was our babies first x

Just caught up on everything, glad to hear all babies are thriving, I just can't believe Dexter will be 10 months tomorrow, feel like this year has just flown by! He's definitely a big boy, weighed him about a month ago and he was 25lbs and 74cms (don't know what that is in inches though...) showing on the chart as 99th percentile. He's crawling everywhere and trying to pull himself up onto everything, we've also just got a kitten to add to the chaos of our house and the two of them together are a nightmare, just into absolutely everything! He claps and waves goodbye but I think that most of that is down to my older two trying to teach him everything. He's also just started putting his hands on his head when you say 'uh oh' which is so cute 🥰 He says mama, dada, baba, nana, but nothing is in context yet.
@JW2021 that must have been so scary having the storms so close, glad to hear you're all ok.
@jadey1991 can't believe you made it this long without getting covid, hope your taste and smell return soon!
@Decadesbcun sorry to hear S is ill, hope he recovers quickly and you don't get it. Dexter's had an awful cough and cold for about 3 weeks now bit I think it's gradually starting to go 🤞
@Theawkwardblonde how's the pregnancy going? How far along are you now?
Very cute photos of all the babies, all growing up and looking adorable ❤️

@lovebeingmum9 yes we have defo kept it at bay for a long time. I just can't wait to be able to smell and taste again. Aww bless you I'm sorry you hear about your dog. I do hope the test will come back fine. Sending my wishes to you and your family. How's your little one doing?

OP posts:
jadey1991 · 10/10/2022 23:19

@burtle4 aww Dexter is so cute. I also love the colour of ur kitten. So adorable.. Josiah isn't saying much other then dada and mama he isn't waving. I hope Things will change soon. Lol. Yes I know hun I've been so careful. To be honest I don't know how we caught it. We haven't been anyway the past 2 weeks coz everyone has been under the weather.

OP posts:
lovebeingmum9 · 11/10/2022 10:12

Thanks @jadey1991 the vets suspect he might have cushings disease so if confirmed with the blood test then he can have meds that will manage it.... and will hopefully help with his incontinence.
Yes oscar is doing really well thanks.....8 teeth now, crawling, has stood up at coffee table by himself so like josiah I don't think it will be much longer until he's walking! How's everything with you all? x

jadey1991 · 11/10/2022 10:28

@lovebeingmum9 aww do keep us updated. I hope everything works out for him.. yes we are all okay. We both tested negative this morning so now we just need to fully recover. I haven't been out for 2 weeks. I've stuck my head out of the window but that's all. Need to regain my weight again as I've lost some since being ill. Hubby and girls are fine. They are lucky.

OP posts:
lovebeingmum9 · 11/10/2022 18:50

@jadey1991 Thanks will keep you posted! aw will be lovely for you to finally get back out.....I hope your taste and sense of smell comes back soon I've heard some say it takes months! I'm opposite..... I could do with loosing some weight lol I just can't stop eating lately! we have a holiday booked for next April so I'm hoping that getting closer will be my incentive! x

Decadesbcun · 11/10/2022 20:41

@lovebeingmum9 i spoke to the health visitor for his review and she said that anything from 9 - 12 months for waving and clapping so that has made me feel a little more relaxed. I must look like a right nutter going round clapping and waving constantly 🤣
@JW2021 so awful to see all the devastation from the storms, glad you’re all ok.
@jadey1991 hope you get the smell and taste back. My Other half lost his but got it back after about 2-3 weeks. I think he tasted toothpaste first after it.
@burtle4 the ‘uh oh’ is so cute. S will open his mouth to my lips and give me a ‘kiss’ if I ask can mummy have a kiss? Sometimes he’ll do it randomly which is great! Honestly could cry every time 🥹

For those of you back or thinking of going back to work now, how are you finding it? We have some settling in sessions at nursery soon which I am dreading. He is only going one day a week but it’s a long day for him as I start work at 7am and he’ll be going at 6.45 until a family member can pick him up at 5.30pm :( I don’t finish work till 8pm and he’ll be in bed when I get back which I feel so guilty about. Also going to do 1 night shift a week but my mum will have S then. Currently looking for another role with more friendly hours but they are few and far between and even then I would have to do some on calls. It’s a logistical nightmare tbh.

jadey1991 · 11/10/2022 21:38

@lovebeingmum9 yes I've heard the same but I'm hoping it doesn't take long coz it's so off putting.. I literally cannot eat (forcing myself) because everything taste so bland and nasty. Aww where are you going for your holiday?

OP posts:
Theawkwardblonde · 16/10/2022 10:48

Sorry ladies! I've been hopeless on socials and just read through all the updates.
I'm still here but still not very well with HG. Not putting on any weight and feeling very weak and Ill. I'm 18 weeks now.
I work shifts so finding that hard alongside looking after the little one. Had a few weeks off sick as have been absolutely floored.

We've got crawling here, 6 teeth, wobbly standing, and clapping and waving. Had a few 'dadas' too but totally out of context 😂

2020mission · 16/10/2022 19:01

Sorry all I'm just as bad as keeping up as I've been sorting out a new job, house hunting and setting up a mortgage (at the worst possible time) and also watching a baby haha.

@Decadesbcun I'm going back to work (a new job) at the end of November and already feeling sad about leaving M but needs must! I've managed to get them to agree to 30 hours with the new job so I'm going to have Wednesdays off and I'll have flexi time so can work anytime between 7am and 7pm, 2 days in office and 2 at home. That should all help 😅

@Theawkwardblonde sorry to hear about HG although I'm sure it will all be worth it once your little one is here! Are you finding out if it's a boy or girl?

M is waving sometimes and clapping. Not quite crawling so far - he lays flat on his stomach and just drags himself forward with his arms and kicking his legs. It's working for him for now and suits me as it's easier to catch him 😆 he's got his bottom 2 teeth and top 2 have just cut through but not fully in yet.

Everyone's babies are so damn cute and getting so big 🥰 here's M in his skeleton suit which is still too big for him haha

jadey1991 · 16/10/2022 21:37

@2020mission hey hun, glad to hear from you. I'm glad everything is going well for you all. Yes unfortunately it is a bad time to start with mortgage but at least you have something for your family. Baby M looks so cute in his outfit. He looks so happy. I hope your new job goes well and the house hunting.

Hi all have some good news and bad news today.....unfortunately our elderly 15 and half Yr old much loved dog had to be put to sleep on thursday and we was all heartbroken! Brought his body home and kids were able to see him at peace and put flowers in his dog bed with him....he's now buried in our garden next to his companion (our other dog) and we will plant lots of pretty flowers for spring/summer next year! Our good news only came today and our daughter has passed her tests to hopefully get a place at her chosen school so celebrations tonight when she's home from school 😊
@Decadesbcun ah that's good then lots of waving and clapping here too lol although oscar has started to shake his head when he's had enough food now! 🤣 Good luck with going back to work... I bet little one will be fine and extra happy to see you on your time off x
@jadey1991yeah I never got that thankfully but felt rubbish in every other way! Hopefully doesn't linger for long and just think about that first taste of a takeaway or chocolate it's goingvto be amazing! We have booked to go to Turkey for the 1st time.....looking forward to it but also a bit apprehensive as we don't travel light or easy as a family of 7 lol
@Theawkwardblonde sorry to hear of your hg I had awful sickness with all mine.....couldn't stomach water or tablets etc hope it passes soon enough for you! @2020mission aw just look how cute he looks in that outfit! 🥰 you sound super busy but hopefully your looking forward to getting your mortgage and new home!

LouLou0505 · 18/10/2022 19:11

Hi everyone!

Haven't been on in ages so it's going to take me a while to catch up!

Jack is 10 months today, he's the fastest crawler I've ever seen 😂 I've added some recent pics of him looking like a toddler not baby 😩

He's got so big I could cry! I go back to work in just over 2 months and I'm already dreading it! I'm only doing 2 days back at the Police as we have no help for childcare so I guess that's not too bad!

Hope everyone is doing ok with everything going on! Xxx

@lovebeingmum9 I'm he has got so big and has much hair... Josiah has that play gym lol

OP posts:
lovebeingmum9 · 19/10/2022 20:47

@jadey1991 we was under the impression it's one of turkeys coolest months but still classed as hot for us brits! The price for 7 of us to go any later is laughable and with 5 children that will be aged 11,8,5,3 and 16months we would just be happy with a sunny week away x Yeah love the baby gym......he's too old for it now but I still get it out occasionally and put a load of toys on it and then it makes it a bit easier to tidy up! Have you booked your holiday or are you debating it and booking last minute? x

jadey1991 · 19/10/2022 23:09

@lovebeingmum9 aww yes hun go for it. I'm sure you will all love it there. My brother and hood partner not long came back from there. They loved it.
No haven't booked it just yet. We are debating but in January we will book it as we will have to make our minds up lol. Is going to be amazing getting josiah's passport
