for half a day per week while two parents are both WFH?

DH and I would both be WFH. DH full day but is flexible. I would do half day. Thinking of keeping baby home that day and in nursery 4 full days.

We both have the option of making up hours earlier in the day or in the evening.

I expect I know the answer!

I've been looking at similar questions.
Just to throw into the mix, you may wish to factor in that tax free childcare is capped at £2000 per year, on 930/month you are already over this, so won't be getting govt help towards that last day.
I realised my 4th and 5th day will give

Book 5 days but have dc home for a day 2 weeks running and see how it goes.

Other option is do you have a college age neighbour or relative who has that day off and could come play with dc and take them for a walk for an hour for a couple of £, I know my college age dd would love to do this.

I would go for 5 days. I say this because my 18mo has been home sick a LOT. We had a 3 month stretch where he only did 4 complete weeks. If you have to take a day or two off to look after him when he’s sick then you will need to focus this other day to get your work done. It gives you a buffer. Then if you have spare time you can collect early and spend time together.

I personally find wfh with a toddler stressful. I can sit on the sofa with the laptop to keep an eye on him but then he will wander off continually. If I shut him in the living room with me he will bang on the door and get upset when he wants to go somewhere else. He can also loves to be outside and can only cope with being gone for a couple of hours. He is happy and nursery and they entertain him better than I can whilst working.
