Am I a lazy mum?

I have a 12 week old. I tried breastfeeding but she wasn't feeding properly at first and I got PND (to the point I was nearly admitted to a mother and baby unit) so I gave up after about 2 days. I keep her in baby grows most of the time, she has loads of clothes but I just feel it's easier and she is comfier in baby grows if we're not seeing anyone. I see all these babies on my mum groups in cute Christmas outfits but my girl just lives in baby grows!
Am I lazy?

First baby was a champion refluxer. Destroyed so many outfits once weaned with orange vomit stains.

Second doesn’t puke but I’ve learnt my lesson. 4.5 months and still in babygros.

We have a perfect prep for both upstairs and down. I often bribe the 3yo with Paw Patrol to watch her sister on her playmat while I whip around and do the hoovering/dusting/clean the bathroom. We have a freezer full of those Annabel Karmel toddler ready meals for busy days.

Everyone takes shortcuts in some way or other. If they say they don’t, they’re lying.

Eh? No, babygrows are comfy and cute!
A fed baby is best, don’t sweat it!! Enjoy your baby!!!!

My 8 week old has only once worn something that wasn't a baby grow Grin

My child did not wear a ‘proper outfit’ until 6 months. Some of the outfits parents dress tiny newborns in are ridiculous, cannot be comfortable for the child and in some instances tacky as hell.

I read "I have a 12 week old" and instantly thought no you are not. Whatever you are doing just to get by is totally fine. As long as she has something on to keep her warm, is fed, happy and loved then you are doing the right thing. That's all she needs.

We used sleepsuits basically until our baby could start to stand/toddle a bit because then you need bare feet.

Also, FF does not make you a lazy mum... speaking as someone who started combi feeding then gradually EBF... FF is not easy! If BF works for you then it's by far the laziest no-effort option. To formula feed you have to clean and sterilise bottles, measure out powder and hot water, buy formula and not run out or let it go off etc etc it was so bothersome. But I had to do it to keep my baby fed, mums do what they have to do! You're doing really well but you don't need me to tell you that!
