I wouldn’t let him walk into the duck pond with his shoes and clothes on, in the middle of December.

And yours threw one today because..?

Because Daddy came home from the shops with tinsel as a nice surprise but it was the wrong colour.

LuluBlakey1 · 11/12/2021 21:13

Another window licker- DS2 - tantrum because he is not allowed to copy the cat and lick the french doors.
And because his tshirt was green - he picked it out to wear -and wouldn't change itself to blue.
And because his pasta tasted like pasta and he wanted it to taste like
'lice cweam'
And because the seal in the sea ignored him and DH would not let him go into the sea to get it. DH is a 'norty daddy'.
It has been a very wailey day today.

MsSquiz · 11/12/2021 21:16

It was last week, not today, but too ridiculous not to share!

I wouldn't let her play with the urine sample bottle (full of urine) that I asked DH to drop off at the Dr's surgery after dropping DD at nursery!

He asked for a sausage and I gave him a sausage. Apparently this was wrong 😑

LynnThese4reSEXPEOPLE · 11/12/2021 21:25

He wanted "sea-sle" (cereal) and when I gave it to him it was the wrong cereal. And when I took it away, he wanted cereal.. .

Such fun!! Thanks all for sharing.

Because I took the used diaper away from him

Tomatobear · 14/12/2021 21:44

He asked me to peel his banana and I peeled it

Mumoblue · 14/12/2021 22:01

Because I pushed his car after he sat in his car and asked me to push him. Then he cried because I stopped pushing him. And then he cried because I started again.
Then he despondently banged his head on the wheel and wailed while the horn squeaked every time.

Road rage I guess. Grin

KatherineofGaunt · 14/12/2021 22:03

... he wanted the fridge door left open. He screamed every time I shut it and then he'd wrench it open again. 🤷🏻‍♀️

kittythehedgehog · 14/12/2021 22:14

Because we were near a train track and I wondered aloud if we might see a train. He didn't want to see any vehicles

LaBelleSausage · 14/12/2021 22:15

She has normal human fingers on her hands. She wants chocolate fingers to grow there

LuluBlakey1 · 14/12/2021 22:32

We were going to see DH's grandma at PIL and we passed a little allotment where the man was selling pretty potted cyclamen. I said to DS2 we should get one so he could give it to g-g-gann as he calls her.

I was being totally unreasonable of course because none of them were made from chocolate and he wanted one made from chocolate. It ended in him sobbing, stamping his feet and being put in his buggy.

santastolemycat · 14/12/2021 22:52

We turned the chase off before he got to hear the bit at the end where the potato lands on the sofa.

MrsSkylerWhite · 14/12/2021 22:55

Fair enough Grin

Gets better (though 18 year old got the strop last weekend because our oven dies t go to 280 degrees, which is apparently what “authentic” pizzas require!)

MrsSkylerWhite · 14/12/2021 22:55

Doesn’t 🙄

Bobholll · 14/12/2021 23:17

Because real coins don’t have chocolate in them, she threw one at her sisters head 🥴😂 (this throwing things when cross is a new skill she’s acquired in the last 7 days 🤦🏼‍♀️)

Blueblossombush · 14/12/2021 23:34

My dd threw one once in the chemist because I refused to buy her a ‘party bag’
It was an sti testing kit

She’s 25 now and I enjoy bringing it up at times

NishaaS123 · 14/12/2021 23:51

Because I took his jacket off when we got home and he wants to keep the jacket on inside when it’s so hot as we had the heating on lol

Dogmum40 · 14/12/2021 23:53

I don’t have kids (through choice) but these are making me howl! Keep them coming 😆

KurtWildesChristmasNamechange · 15/12/2021 20:11

Because he asked for his jacket on and I put his jacket on. Oh, the horror!!

KurtWildesChristmasNamechange · 15/12/2021 20:13

I wouldn't let him eat the fairy lights. That was yesterday. I'd forgotten about that!

Reminds me of the time DD now 11 threw a wobbly because I wouldn't let her eat a slug.

LuluBlakey1 · 15/12/2021 22:57

Today's was because there were no seals when we went for a walk on the beach and he wanted to catch a seal.
Then when we got home he wanted to have a nap but when he lay down he didn't want to and had to get back up and then he remembered the lack of seals on the beach.
At tea-time he wanted cheese on toast but when it was infront of him it wasn't pasta and I should have made it turn into pasta. 'Mummy make it be pasta'.
Every day is wailey tantrum day at the minute.

Icewiththat · 15/12/2021 23:00

She has hair on her head and she doesn’t like hair.

I wouldn’t let her put her feet in the toilet.

We turned left at a random junctionand she wanted to go ‘they way’

LuluBlakey1 · 15/12/2021 23:02

What made me laugh was DD looking at him when he was crying unconsolably about the cheese on toast and saying 'Can we not put him in the big cupboard in the utility room Mummy?'
