My toddler threw a tantrum today because…

I wouldn’t let him walk into the duck pond with his shoes and clothes on, in the middle of December.

And yours threw one today because..?

He wanted to play with the clouds from the sky and had an almighty strop when I said I couldn't reach them!

Because I wouldn’t keep spinning round in circles with him because I was dizzy AF

I made him do a wee as he was doing the bursting for a wee dance.

"But I REALLY liked that wee mummy I wanted to keep it inside of my body"

He wanted to go into one of the small meeting rooms at the bank as he could see there were balloons in there!

Because her feet were cold because she'd just taken off her socks and thrown them at me. That was my fault apparently. Victim blaming!

Because I wouldn’t let them drive the car to nursery 🤔

I got his feet measured at Clarke’s and dared to make him try a pair of shoes on… the noise was deafening!

Because DH finished work at lunchtime today and had lunch with us in the kitchen.

I asked her to put her wellies on. (She LOVES her wellies).

🤣🤣read a report from the USA a year or so ago (I think, times becoming a bit of a blur) of a little lad, 5 or 6 I think, who decided in the early hours that what he and his little sister really needed there and then was a McDonald’s happy meal.

So, after plugging her into her seat safely, he set off for the golden arch several miles away.

He was picked up not because of a missing persons report or for erratic driving (his driving was excellent according to the officers) but because they couldn’t see anyone at the steering wheel.

I really, really hope that the officers who took them home bought them a happy meal!

What outrageous behaviour have you had to put up with today, toddlers of Mumsnet?

I turned a light on at 7:30am! Apparently we wants to walk around in a pitch black house

Because he is not as tall as his 7 year old brother.

Because I gave dd the wrong kind of blueberries, she wanted the blue blueberries not the ones I had

I stopped her from ‘flying’ her 4 month old sister around the room.

He didn't today, or yesterday or the day before. 😁

Not today but the other week was because he couldn't use a fork on his crisps 🙃

Another one from earlier today. We wouldn’t allow her to eat her lunch on her lap while on the potty. Apparently she needed a wee and food at exactly the same time.
