Baby ate salty chips

My baby/toddler ate 4 chips off my plate earlier when we were out for lunch. I didn’t think anything of it until I tasted them myself and realized they were extremely salty! I feel terrible as he’s only 12 months. Could I have harmed his kidneys?

No. Don't worry. My DD are a pot of sudocrem at that age.

They will be totally fine. Most babies have had the odd chip or crisp by that age. Just make sure they have plenty to drink and avoid anything salty for the rest of the day.

Mine put a bird shit in his mouth the other day don’t worry.

I'm just here for @alexdgr8 to come back and tell us the rationale behind NOT feeding a 12 month old, can't wait for this explanation Grin
