My LO is nearly 4 months and it is tough at the moment. I've tried to lean into it a bit and not constantly think of things I'm missing out on but try and focus on the few positives such as not constantly having to entertain visitors and be able to have an untidy house because no one will see it! You are also allowed to form a bubble with another household if you have a baby under 1 which really helps.

My DD naps about every 1.5 hours so I try and do something different after every nap to keep her (but mostly me) entertained, otherwise it can feel very monotonous. Walks, reading books together, tummy time, play mat time, singing along to nursery rhymes etc. I have also just bought a sensory box from Etsy which contains things like a foil blanket, colourful scarfs, bubbles so we can do sensory play sessions at home. The positive birth company are also doing free playtime sessions on YouTube each day, including baby signing, baby massage which pass the time. I'm sure there are lots of other baby classes online too.
