I have a 5 month old and I just can’t control my love for him. I love him so much, I just want him to have a good life and give him the best. I spend ages just looking at him in awe. He is so precious to me, he amazes me every day with his milestones.

How old are all your babies? And what do you love about them.

That’s wonderful, long may it last!
My baby is 25, and he is still my delight.

Bluntness100 · 18/12/2020 12:52

23 and am still obsessed. 😃

PussyMalanga · 18/12/2020 14:19

Oh same.

My baby girl is 15 weeks and I'm utterly obsessed with her. She's so sweet.

just reading your messages has made me smile. I have a 2yr and 4yr old. they are my world. so much fun and so hard work. on a night I sneak in and have a look at their adorable faces. we are very lucky ❤😊

Vindo · 18/12/2020 14:23

1 and 3. They are absolutely adorable and I just want to give them big squashy hugs all the time!!

BeardyButton · 18/12/2020 14:27

Mine is 5. I sometimes go into his room at night and stare at him sleeping. To me, he looks exactly like I imagine an angel would. I keep on thinking - I want him to be this age forever... But then he gets a bit older and I love him just the same.

Every now and then I think about how I dont lift him that much anymore (he is too heavy). That makes me sad. When I decide I want to make myself cry, I imagine a time where he wont climb on top of my lap to watch cartoons or slip his little hand into mine when we are walking. And here we go... Im bawling as I type.

Nearly 2. She’s hilarious, generous, fascinating, talks constantly and is obsessed with stones, helping her dad with DIY and likes smelling everything. We waited a long time for her and she’s the light of my life. She’s currently snoring and sounds like a plane taking off, it’s adorable Grin

lifebytheby · 18/12/2020 14:36

1 and almost 3. I love them so much if I think about it for too long my heart hurts.

cherryunripe · 18/12/2020 14:38

33 and still my pride and joy

Bk21 · 18/12/2020 15:27

DS is 2 and I'm obsessed with him. Having spent most of the year just us two day in day out, our bond feels even stronger. I already can't bear the thought of him going to school and not being with me🤣🤦‍♀️

Bubbinsmakesthree · 18/12/2020 16:00

Aww this is a sweet thread!

I remember telling my DH when my first DC was about 3 months old that if I could repeat any part of my life again it would have been those last 3 months with a baby in our lives. This was clearly madness as he was an awful newborn but I was just overwhelmed by all the love!

igotosleep · 18/12/2020 16:02

3 & 5. I’m due another soon, I love babies, toddlers, children. Obviously haven’t got to teenage years yet Grin

I love being a mum, it’s bloody hard work - especially because I work full time - but wouldn’t change a thing!

Roselilly36 · 18/12/2020 16:02

My two babies are nearly 20 & 18, love them to bits, both really lovely young men. Enjoy OP they grow up quick.

EdwardCullensBiteOnTheSide · 18/12/2020 16:02

❤️ I love this post, I feel the same about mine and they're in nursery and primary school now!
No love can compare to a mother's love.

Ballstothis148 · 18/12/2020 16:05

What a sweet thread :) You don’t often hear this stuff from parents in real life, lovely to read

maudspellbody · 18/12/2020 16:06

Mine are bigger now and I love them just the same, but I do sometimes wish I could have a day with them as babies again. Just once. Because, as stupid as it sounds, I am so nostalgic for those days of squidgy cuddles and the smell of their little heads (I still sniff my DC's heads, but DS(15)s is a little more oily these days and not quite the same)

SmileyClare · 18/12/2020 16:09

14, 16 and 19. Still consumed with love for them. I worry when they go out in the evening, get in their mate's cars and when the 2 oldest went to Reading festival last year my heart was in my mouth for a week Grin

Enjoy your little one Op. Smile

ivfbabymomma1 · 18/12/2020 16:11

I'm obsessed with my 18 month old! I've got full on PFB syndrome but I don't care he's absolutely beautiful! Sometimes I look at him and my heart aches in pain with love!

Sorry but that made me laugh. Sniffing a teenager's head isn't quite the same is it? I've done the same with my sons and sort of recoiled a bit. Grin Still love them to bits though.
timeforawine · 18/12/2020 16:17

4 and she's my world, she's smart, funny, cuddly and so smiley. Just adore her

IRememberMySpaceBabe · 18/12/2020 16:22

6 and 3. The 6 year old still has delicious soft baby cheeks and is such a friendly, happy boy. He loves to read and draw.

My 3 year old is tiny, fiesty, hilarious and an excellent mimic and she loves to accessorise - usually she’s in beads, sunglasses, hat, earmuffs and sparkly boots. They adore each other.

kittlesticks · 18/12/2020 16:26

Mine are DS3 and DD1.5 they are so different to each other and both just wonderful kids. DS3 is shy and quiet, and was slow to talk, but has recently started saying 'I love you so so much!' Which is just amazing. DD is a total rocket - so quick to pick things up, runs around like a crazy thing all day, and absolutely hilarious. ❤️
