I have a 5 month old and I just can’t control my love for him. I love him so much, I just want him to have a good life and give him the best. I spend ages just looking at him in awe. He is so precious to me, he amazes me every day with his milestones.

How old are all your babies? And what do you love about them.

This is the loveliest thread. I’m 32 weeks and feeling overwhelmed with love for my little boy. It’s such a joy every time he kicks or moves, I can’t wait to be a mummy.

linerforlife · 18/12/2020 16:33

My DD is six months and I'm utterly in love with her. I watch her sleep when I should be sleeping too or look at photos of her on my phone. My chest honestly hurst with love for her sometimes. I am so so lucky!!!

Bk21 · 18/12/2020 16:36

I do feel so blessed to have him in my life. I feel as though when I was pregnant all I kept hearing was people telling me to "enjoy my sleep whilst I can" " babies are hard work". Nobody ever spoke about how much joy they fill our lives with.

Mine are 1, 3 and 5. I just adore them all, they are so so different and individual but just lovely lovely little people.

You're in for a treat OP, at 5 months they are really pretty boring - it just gets better and better. Walking my 5 year old home from school is the highlight of my day, I just love hearing all his stories, when they learn to properly talk is amazing.

DieCryHate · 18/12/2020 16:42

What a lovely thread 💕

sar302 · 18/12/2020 16:47

Mine is 3 and I adore him more each day. Every day at some point, he comes up for a cuddle and says "I love you soooooo much". Honestly takes my breath away. We had a rough start and I never got to enjoy the baby time, but the toddler years have totally made up for it!

MrFlibblesEyes · 18/12/2020 16:56

Ds is 13 months and has recently learnt to pucker up his lips properly for kisses so he keeps toddling over to me an planting a big smacker on my lips every few minutes. My heart explodes every time 😍

BeautyAndTheBump1 · 18/12/2020 21:52

My boy is 6 months and I am obsessed with him. Before getting pregnant I suffered with depression & anxiety but came off the meds when I found out I was pregnant. I had HG throughout and was in a really dark place then, but as soon as he was born I didnt start taking them again as I didnt need to. I feel like this entire time he was the missing piece to my jigsaw. He just brings me so so sooo much joy. When he goes to bed me and DH sit looking through all our pictures and videos of him. We literally do this every night.
Hes such a kind little soul, he is always so happy and has the biggest grin on his face. It's literally impossible to be down around him.

I was thinking of starting a thread like this too. I love my boys so much I feel like I could burst. One is almost 3 and the other is 9 months. They are so boody gorgeous

whereisthejoy · 18/12/2020 23:26

2 and a quarter. She is everything! My best friend, insanely bright and talkative, super snuggly and precious and hilariously funny. The light of our lives. Just so grateful to have moved close to my family recently, so they can be uplifted seeing her too.

Thank you for this thread!

Dopeyduck · 21/12/2020 22:03

DS is 1. I love how funny he, he’s forever playing silly games with me.

DorotheaHomeAlone · 21/12/2020 22:16

I feel like this about my three. I love, love being a mum but try not to drone on about it too much in public. Completely obsessed with my 10m old who is just clearly the best baby ever. Grin But the older two 4 and 6 are just wonderful too. So funny and interesting and full of fun and life. They’re by far the best company of anyone I know - worth every sleepless night, toddler tantrum and vomiting incident a hundred times over.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 21/12/2020 22:21

Mine is 20 and is the light of my life. He's reliable and kind, and is gorgeous like his dad. This is a lovely thread Smile

Sunshine1235 · 21/12/2020 22:33

Obsessed with my children (4,3,0) - after they’ve gone to bed my DH and I often just end up chatting about all the hilarious things they’ve done and sharing photos we’ve taken.

Ploughingthrough · 21/12/2020 22:39

I still feel like this about mine, they are 8 and 5.5. Feel so lucky, they are beautiful and adorable! I love this thread btw 🥰

Livpool · 21/12/2020 22:39

DS is 5 and I love him SO much. He is such a mummy's boy and I love it.

Completely cheesy but he is the reason I am here; I am sure

Mamascoven · 21/12/2020 22:43

6, 4 & 1. They are my whole world and more and have kept me going this year.

PriceEmUp · 21/12/2020 22:44

1 year on New Years Eve, an absolute treasure and I genuinely do believe my love for her grows stronger every single day.

Foundmyfeet · 21/12/2020 22:50

My DD is 14 a s I could kiss her and kick her all at the same time! Grin

AlfieandAnnieRose · 21/12/2020 22:50

@BeardyButton

Mine is 5. I sometimes go into his room at night and stare at him sleeping. To me, he looks exactly like I imagine an angel would. I keep on thinking - I want him to be this age forever... But then he gets a bit older and I love him just the same.

Every now and then I think about how I dont lift him that much anymore (he is too heavy). That makes me sad. When I decide I want to make myself cry, I imagine a time where he wont climb on top of my lap to watch cartoons or slip his little hand into mine when we are walking. And here we go... Im bawling as I type.

Oh same here 🙁 my little boy is 4 and a half and he’s grown so tall recently! I try and not think too far in the future when he won’t want anything to do with me. Luckily he still loves to cuddle and says I’m his best friend 🙂

My babies are all teenagers now, but I still utterly adore them. And I get to sleep all night and my boobs don't leak Wink .

blankiesandunicorns · 21/12/2020 23:30

7 years old and 10 weeks are mine. I love watching my baby smile at her big sister and love how much my eldest loves her back. They're both amazing

Lovely thread 💕

Florawest · 21/12/2020 23:55

My babies are 27, 25 and 14 and they are just fab, caring, kind and generous to each other.
My eldest girl can't come home for Christmas much to our and her heartbreak, sure there is loads of people like us.
She was home in the summer, luckily for two weeks, was so looking forward to them all together and a bit of female back up for me.
I remember when I had my eldest, just gazing into the see through trolley cot in the hospital and couldn't take my eyes off her was admiring this little beauty.

Same with the boys.

Time flies so enjoy every moment everyone.

ButterfliesandMoths · 21/12/2020 23:56

My babies are 24 & 30 and I love them so much, I wish I could rewind time and do it all over again.
Treasure every moment because it goes by so fast.
