Cradle cap - wait it out?

Anyone have any luck waiting out cradle cap rather than treating it? Tried rapeseed oil on the advice of the pharmacist (who is a bit useless imho Hmm ) but it made it SO MUCH WORSE!! Grr Angry . Now a bit reluctant to mess with it but I noticed this morning that the cradle cap seems to be escaping his hairline and marching towards his eyebrows now Confused . If you did let it resolve in its own time, roughly how long did it take? DS is 3 months old, had it for about a month I reckon ...

I genuinely don't understand why cradle cap is still a thing? Dentinox shampoo clears it in a couple of washes... why leave it it 'clear in its own?

Dentinox worked in about two washes for both mine.
None of the oil treatments worked.

Also shampoo sirens make gentle than scrubbing.

I now wash their hair with it every few days if I see any coming back

Dentinox didn't do anything to my little ones hair, hence leaving it.

Dentinox didn't seem that effective with ds but oil followed by combing got rid of a lot. He continued to have patches for months/ years and I had such a strong compulsion to pick at it - I can still remember the urge and he's a teenager now!! Also hoping for satisfying update from op Grin

@isittimetogotobed
Dentinox made my sons worse. It seemed to just dry out his scalp badly so it was basically white which then turned back into cradle cap, whilst not getting rid of the original cap. I think his was past the point and needed combing
