Lost teddy, heartbroken daughter - can anyone help please?

Hi all, wasn't sure where to put this and really hoping someone can help, though I know it is a long shot.

My daughter (2.6) lost her teddy today. We have searched everywhere and can't find him. Needless to say she is devastated and really worried about him. I have posted a picture of him in my profile and if anyone of you has a teddy like him to spare I would gladly pay you for him. He is a Tesco hugging friend (a dog really). I shall also be contacting Tesco just incase they have any left over anywhere and no doubt tomorrow my daughter and I will be putting up 'lost teddy' posters.

If anyone can help I would be so grateful. xx

This one? Where I was responding to the doubts of the OP and discussing the responses I'd had to the website?

Or how about this one?

Can anyone find anything wrong with these?

I've done a postcard for your dd and have posted it today, hopefully even with the postal strike, she should have it by the weekend?

How did you get on with Ebay?

MorticiasMother · 10/10/2007 20:56

oops, wondered were those posts had disappeared to! Ignore them, they are meant for another thread altogether! I thought I had posted them on there but they disappeared, now I know why, I must have had this window open at the same time and just posted them here!

My son lost his teddy last August on a train in Czech Republic. He is showing serious signs of distress at the loss, still, some so severe and worrying that I can't describe them fully.
How can I start a wide reaching Mumsnet campaign to find a replacement? (retired Jellycat bear, 2008 - see pic & link below)
