Is peppa pig really so terrible?

I was reading about how Peppa pig is a bad influence and children have become more rude after they've watched a bit. I watch with my daughter and she loves it. I admit some episodes are a bit sexist so I've turned it off but I love the episodes with grandma and grandpa pigs gardens and chickens, lots of giggles about wiggly worms and we've talked about it when out in our garden. So is it really so bad?

It cheered up my kids knowing they are not the only ones that can't go to the park :).

I quite like Peppa although the fat shaming is annoying.

I like the humour. The song that Grandad Dog sings when he’s living on the lighthouse really cracks me up for some reason... “I woke up this morning... the sea was still there... the sea, the sky, the sea, the sky, the sea, the skyyyyyy!”

Bloody hate it, my goddaughters watched it and i swore when i had a child they wouldn't watch it, I've stuck to it and she's never seen it.
I am stuck with Micky mouse club house and peter rabbit.

My friend made this video of Peppa going on a bear hunt. Please help her by sharing this. I'm sure your younger kids will love it.

I find it very irritating, and also quite sexist/stereotyped. Luckily dd is a fan of Octonauts, Sarah and duck, and duggee all of which I don’t mind at all.
