10 weeks
11.30-12.30am until 5.30-6.30am
A good 6 hours then has a feed and usually goes back to sleep until about 9.30am

LeafyLainey · 05/03/2018 20:59

Mine is 9 months, goes to bed at 6:45 wakes anytime between 6 and 7am. Sleeps through the nights from 6.5 months.

PonderLand · 05/03/2018 20:59

Nearly 2 year old goes to bed at 7:30/8pm. Wakes up between 7/8:00. He does wake up crying most nights but it only lasts a few minutes then he goes back off.

4 months. We've just ditched the anything goes method in favour of a proper bedtime routine as he was demanding it. Bath is between 6 and half past which means he drops off by 7.30 at the latest.

He'll be full of beans at 6.30am and will have 2-3 sleepy feeds during the night, usually 10pm, midnight and 3am.

He goes back to sleep around 9/10am for an hour or so then catnaps every few hrs in the day for 10-30mins.

Lana1234 · 05/03/2018 21:15

6mo bedtime at 6. Wakes up throughout for feeds though. Awake about 7am for the day.

Itscolderoutside · 05/03/2018 21:16

17 and 21. Took ages to get them into a routine, but they have sleeping through for a while now.

I collect them from town in the early hours and they do not rise next day until they have watched at least 200 totally pointless You Tube videos - or they smell breakfast.

EllenJanethickerknickers · 05/03/2018 21:18

My babies are 20, 18 and 15. Th older two go to bed sometime after I do. The younger one puts me to bed! Grin

BalloonDinosaur · 05/03/2018 21:44

Nearly 14 months

Goes to bed between 6:45 and 7

Awake anywhere between 6 and 8:30, though he sometimes self settles and goes back to sleep.

He sleeps longer for DP than for me (if I'm on a day shift I leave the house at 5:45) I suspect DP sleeps through his initial grumbling whereas I'm generally awake as soon as he stirs.

He doesn't generally wake in the night, very rarely more than once.

Caterina99 · 06/03/2018 02:29

5 month old - about 6.30pm-7am with usually at least 2 night feeds

2.5 year old - if napped about 8pm-7am. If no nap then about 6.30pm-7am

WhatwouldRuthdo · 06/03/2018 02:38

4 year old- bed at 7pm, up at 6.30am. Don’t hear a peep from him unless talking in his sleep.
6 month old- bed at 7pm, up any time from 5.30-7.30am. And up all bloody night long.

Makingworkwork · 06/03/2018 08:54

Nearly 2 year old.

Bed time is 8.00 but it takes her about 90 minutes to get to sleep.
Woken up at 7.00 for nursery.
Nap 12.30 to 2.30.

We cosleep and she normal wakes a couple of times a night for a cuddle.

throwcushions · 06/03/2018 09:22

5.5 months. Bedtime at 7.30pm. Wakes anywhere from 5.30am to 7.30am. Usually earlier if no feed at all in the night (so I don't mind too much) or later if she woke once for a feed.

SuperUnicorn · 06/03/2018 19:06

10 months, 10.30-11pm and sleeps for 9-10 hours. He does feed overnight several times but doesn't really wake for them.

He was going to bed later and I've gradually crept him forwards.

He wouldn't see his dad if he went to bed earlier as he doesn't get in until 9pm (and works 7 days so no days off to see him).

MadAssHatter · 06/03/2018 19:45

11 months. Bedtime is 7pm and wakes at 7:45/8am. Most times he doesn't wake but now and again he wakes at 5ish, has his dummy put back in and goes back to sleep

Lemondrop99 · 06/03/2018 22:15

Just turning 5 months old

Bed 7pm

Wakes 2 (sometimes 3) times to feed, although can have multiple wakes on bad nights which are not hunger related.

Awake 6-7am (rarely 7, and currently battling a new 5am wake up!)

This thread has made me feel a bit better that my DS’s sleep isn’t totally abnormal!

7 months. Bed at 6.30, usually wakes at 5.30.

greenlizard · 07/03/2018 12:18

16 months. Bed at 7.30 and up for the day at anything from 5.30 - 6.30. She sleeps through unless she is teething/unwell. She started sleeping through about 10 months (after some sleep training...). Bed routine is bath, book, bottle and bed.

DS is nearly 3 and sleeps 7.30 - 7.00 and rarely wakes up (he is dropping his day time nap so is super tired by the end of the day). His routine is bath with his sister, books (as many as he can wrangle out of me or DH) and into bed.

FartnissEverbeans · 07/03/2018 13:48

17 months, goes to bed at 6:30 (doesn't always go to sleep at that time though Hmm)

We drag him out of bed at about 5:45 to get ready for work/nursery. At weekends he sleeps til about 7.

We have the odd wake up during the night

MonChoufleur123 · 07/03/2018 19:36

OP hope you don't mind me hijacking this thread! Just interested to know if/how people who have said they night weaned or reduced feeds and hopefully wake ups?
Our 7 month old goes to bed around 7.30pm and is up around 6am. On a good night he wakes at approx 11pm 2am 5am for feeds, on our worst nights he's up every hour. Do you offer water? How long do you spend trying to get them back to sleep before giving in and feeding? Thanks!

Faze84 · 07/03/2018 20:25

I gradually watered down the 10pm feed but and eventually didnt wake for them. I cant remember about the middle of night feeds. Perhaps more food during day.

Apricots17 · 08/03/2018 01:02

5 months - 10pm bedtime, wakes once or twice for a couple of ounces of milk. Wakes up at 8am. Naps at about 10am, 12pm (main nap), 3.30pm, 6.30pm.
So happy he is finally getting into a routine.

FartnissEverbeans · 08/03/2018 08:55

I found the seven month mark quite tricky because you're in limbo between solids and milk and DS often ended up hungry at night. It got better as he ate more during the day. I gave high calorie foods like avocado and filled him up with porridge before bed. I never watered down feeds or gave water at night - not for any reason except that it didn't occur to me!

Ilovemybaby91 · 09/03/2018 20:21

Thanks everyone! I just wanted to get an idea of what is 'normal' because you hear so many my babies sleeping through the night at 3 months stories! (B*ards!) Grin my daughter is 8 months BF, goes to bed at 7-7.30 wakes any where between 6-7 but wakes up 3,4 sometimes 5 times a night. Not really wakes up more stirs, on the boob or dummy & asleep again in minutes... I was just wondering if this was normal or if something was disturbing her. Sounds like it's pretty normal...

6 weeks, bed at 11.30 post feed, sleep by midnight, we have to wake for 3am feed, back in bed by 3.30, asleep by 4am and then needs waking for 7am feed and she loves the 7am feed in particular, as I do it, with an 80s power ballad playlist on YouTube. I think that is the secret.
