hello
I think I have fibro not sure I am waiting to see a specialist in April. Not sure if it is that or ME.I suffer alot pain but also get so tired easy and loads of other complaints !!! as long as my arm.

Thanks for the link above will have a look at that. I have a month of work at the moment though that is coming to a end. I don't know what to do so it would be helpful to speak to someone from benefits who can help so will check it out.

I able managing on Tramadol at the moment but dont know how much longer the doctor will let me have it this is al new to me. So any help or advice would be great.

Happygolucky. I have fibro and ME, they usually look at it like a spectrum with
FIBRO- all pain and little fatigue
ME- all fatigue and little or no pain
BOTH diagnosed when pain and fatigue is equal

I have been on tramadol for 8 yrs now. What dosage do you take?

Fostermummy sorry to hear that none of the pain meeds help. I find that tramadol and dihydrocodeine and sometimes need morphine/pethidine help take away the acute pain but vie never been pain free even with those meds. Does the fentanyl help at all? Is it addictive?

FMA uk are great and very helpful and supportive. If anyone wants to friend up on Facebook for more support then just send me an email and I'll add you. It's just nice sometimes to know that someone understands what you are going through

Sade. How is your pregnancy going?

We're ttc baby no2. Ds is 3 1/2 now. My dad moved in last year after my mum died. Its nice to have support, especially now I need to do a nursery school run.

hi, i found out i had fibromyagia after the birth of my second son, i had problems all though the pregnacy but was told it was the bump.

i suffered for 3 1/2 yrs, slowly getting worse, u learn ways of coping,
it was very hard with a toddler and a baby, but had to struggle through it. then i suddenly became very ill and was dx with ME, i was in bed for 3wks, when i slowly recovered my legs wouldn't work properly and i was told that F/M had moved to my legs, it is now all over my body, and i was all dx with CRONIC PAIN SYMDROME ( this is due to my nerves being trapped.

luckly when i became really ill, my hubby had the opertunitie to work from home, if that had not happened i don't know what we would of done.

i am now very disabled and my hubby is a dadum (dad & mum ), he works really hard on keeping are family together, which is also challenging as both my son's have SN,

Hi fedup2full - I don't know what your sons' SNs are, but on this thread there's some discussion about how common it is for mums with ME or fibro to have children with autism, ADHD, etc. Just thought I'd post in case it was relevant to you...
