'i know a rhino' Charles fuge and 'A little bit lost' by Chris Haughton were favourite s with mine. I'm presuming you already have 'dear zoo'!

Tinks15 · 14/05/2017 11:53

Thanks Tay will look at those. Oh yes we have dear zoo but she's thoroughly bored of that one now & won't even entertain it.

do u have a library near by?
Register there and you can get up to 10 books or so at a time. No need to get bored and might find a fave

CaipirinhasAllRound · 14/05/2017 12:24

We can get up to 30 books at our library and there are things to entertain toddlers and no requirement to be quiet. Definitely worth investigating your local one

Any of the Hairy Maclairy books are great - my 23mo DS loves them and tries to join in with the rhymes.

Whatsername17 · 14/05/2017 20:33

What the ladybird heard. My dd loves doing to animal noises. Giraffes can't dance. The fish who could wish. Supertato. Aliens love underpants. Any of the 'Little Princess' books.

My 21 month old used to love 'stickman' by Julia Donaldson but gone off it a bit now. 'Each peach pear plum' was also a hit for a while. His favourite presently is a story about different types of building vehicles (diggers etc) but I can't remember what it's called.

Blerg · 14/05/2017 21:14

At that age DD loved Baby's Catalogue; anything by Julia Donaldson. I like Meg and Mog. Also Mog and the Baby.

Findingthisdifficult1234 · 14/05/2017 21:16

My 23 month old loves all the 'Pip and Posy' books now. There is quite a few different ones and they're not too short or long.

He also liked the tales of acorn wood, lift the flap books.

My gd had the whole Maisy set from Book people at that age and loved every one. She never got tired of hearing them. They come in a little bag.

Tinks15 · 14/05/2017 21:45

Wow thanks everyone, loads of suggestions Smile. Yes we are a big fan of Julia Donaldson books & have a fair few already. I will look at the other suggestions, I think she would def like Pip & Posy. Will be looking into joining a library too I think.
