How often do you check your DCs

Just interested to know how many times people check their LOs once they are in bed & how old are they?

I have DD who is 22 months & I have always been an avid checker! She is asleep by 7pm id say I check her about 3-4 times before I'm in bed for 11pm.

If I wake up randomly in the night I always do then too Smile

If we pop up to the loo in the evening and the toddler is with us all night anyway.

DS 23 months. Once he's in bed asleep I check on him just once, when I go to bed, unless he's making a noise himself.

No monitor and check when I go to the loo or I hear a noise. 10month old.

Aww Blinkyblink that's really sweet.

I go in to tuck the little ones in when I go to bed, and pop my head round the doors of the older two although DD 16 is usually still up and about when I go up.
If one of them is ill I check a bit more often.

We looked after our nephew for a couple of nights when he was 5 or 6 months old. He was in a travel cot at the end of the bed, I remember peering over the side at about three in the morning and seeing two big wide eyes looking back at me. I panicked and crept backwards hoping he didn't cry!

Mine are 13 and 11. I'll go into DDs room as she often falls asleep with the light on and turn it off but I dont specifically go in to tuck them in. Not sure if I ever really have. I'm sure I must have done at some point...

Mine are 3 & 5 and I check on them about an hour after they have gone to sleep and before I go to bed. If I wake in the night for any reason I eill check them then and readjust the duvet if necessary. I am a ridiculously light sleeper however and often wake up multiple times a night. DH does the same.
