assuming that they stay until they're 18 (ie do their A levels).

I've just worked out that I will be 45 and DH will be 49.

I am 24 now and our youngest is 4 (DD), so I will be 38.

DH will be 52.

DS1 will be 28

DS2 will be 27

curlew · 08/11/2006 16:54

I was 38 when my oldest was born, NomdePlume!

BIGlilBUBU · 08/11/2006 18:17

Nomdeplume, So you were 10 when you had ds1?

Mercy · 08/11/2006 18:22

No, NDP was 20 surely

Mercy · 08/11/2006 18:26

Oh, I see what you mean.

I think ds1 and 2 are her step-children.

Am I right in thinking that so far Blondilocks will be the youngest mum and Elibean the oldest? (with me not far behind EB)

Well, I'd like another one, but as of now, I will be 52 and dh will be 66 - is that really right????

xena · 08/11/2006 19:16

Dh 48 me 45

xena · 08/11/2006 19:17

actually I'll be 44 on DS2's 18th birthday

NAB3 · 08/11/2006 19:18

If my youngest leaves at 16 my husband and I will both be 49.

twoisenoughmum · 08/11/2006 19:19

If DS now 3 goes to University, I will be 59 just about to turn 60. He was born 15 September 2003, I was 41 on 29 September 2003. Does that make me the oldest? All you youngsters out there, I promise you getting past 40 isn't the end of the world ...

Callmemadam · 08/11/2006 19:29

I think I beat you - I was 41 and 5 months when dd2 (now 4) was born in May 2002. When she starts senior school at 13 the sibling closest to her in age will be in her last year of UNi. Good thing is she will have handsome elder brothers to drive her about, though . Can't imagine being at the end of it all now iyswim!

pebblemum · 08/11/2006 19:34

Im currently pregant with my third, due in May so if he/she leaves school at 16 then both Dh and I will be 45. That doesnt seem too bad but then i worked out that ds1 will be 26 by then and may be married with kids of his own. Thinking of it like that is very scarey

dizietsma · 09/11/2006 09:47

I'll be 44 and DH will be 42. But we only have one DD and if we have another it'll probably be 10 years-ish in the future (as long as I can find some contraception which doesn't cause me health problems!), so we might be 54 and 52 by the time both have flown the nest.

saythatagain · 09/11/2006 13:28

I'll be 54 (gulp)...

PetitFilou1 · 09/11/2006 19:58

50 (me) and 49 (dh) if we stop with 2. Probably have to start looking after our parents by then anyway. No rest for the wicked

KathH · 09/11/2006 20:44

If ds2 leaves at 16 I will be 48 & dh will be 58 - eek!

KathH · 09/11/2006 20:46

just read thread properly - I will be 50 & dh will be 60 which is quite handy as ds2's birthday is 1st Oct & dh's is 4th Oct & they could have a joint 18th & 60th!

KathH · 09/11/2006 20:47

&dd1 will be 30 so no doubt I'll probably be babysitting for my grandchildren

SparklyfestiveYellowFeathers · 09/11/2006 20:47

Dh will be 49 and I'll be 42.
Life begins and all that

galaxy · 09/11/2006 20:51

I'll be 51 and dh will be 53....but of course she'll be going to Oxford or Cambridge so I'll be really old by the time she gets a job!

schneebly · 09/11/2006 20:51

I will be 43 and DH will be 47.
