assuming that they stay until they're 18 (ie do their A levels).

I've just worked out that I will be 45 and DH will be 49.

MsUnderstood · 07/11/2006 18:00

It is too depressing to work out since she doesn't even start until 2008.

Quadrophenia · 07/11/2006 18:00

beckybrastraps · 07/11/2006 18:01

IdrisTheDragon · 07/11/2006 18:01

Assuming that DD is our last (which may or may not be the case), DH will be 48 and I will be 47.

ComeOVeneer · 07/11/2006 18:01

If they stay until 18 I will be 49 and dh will be 48

Blossomhill · 07/11/2006 18:01

I'll be 41 and dh 44

nutcracker · 07/11/2006 18:01

Blossomhill · 07/11/2006 18:02

Sugarfree · 07/11/2006 18:03

IdrisTheDragon · 07/11/2006 18:03

Got that wrong - 49 and 48 .

nutcracker · 07/11/2006 18:04

God it's depressing isn't it.

twelveyeargap · 07/11/2006 18:04

46, but plan to have another one. If I'd only had DD1, I would have been 34.

foxtrot · 07/11/2006 18:04

oh dear - i will be 57, DH will be 61. Not thought about it before and i am truly

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 07/11/2006 18:05

Idris - it's ok - I've just realised I got ours wrong too - I'll be 46 and DH will be 51

I just worked it out when I was scribbling on a piece of paper trying to work out what changes of school/major exams would be taken in the same school year by my DS's (and the bump when it finally arrives). realised it was YEARS before the youngest will leave school and realised I'd be rather much older than I am now !

I will be 48 and dh will be 56. My own father is only as old as dh will be - and as you can see I am considerably older than 18.

Wordsmith · 07/11/2006 18:08

I'll be 60! . And DH will be 63!! . At least the mortgage will be paid off. They can bugger off to University and leave us to retire in peace (and penury).

iota · 07/11/2006 18:09

Wordsmith -I'll be 60 too

prettymum · 07/11/2006 18:12

i will be 39 and dp 43

tortoise · 07/11/2006 18:12

44 I think!

Sugarfree · 07/11/2006 18:13

Funny image of us all staggering into parents' evening with blue rinses and sensible shoes.
(Electric blue hair and Converse are sensible aren't they?)
