night feeds when dp is back to work

Just wondering how you work the night time feeds when your partner is back at work? Do you share them still or do you

My DH works from noon til midnight as a paramedic, when he gets home, he generally need an hour to decompress from his shift, if DD needs feeding while he's still awake, he does it (I always wake up anyway, see he's feeding her and fall straight back to sleep!) But after that, I let him sleep and do the rest. On days off, its whoever gets to her first usually me

I think it depends how tiring his job is and how tiring your baby is, and how well your baby sleeps! I did all night feeds as was EBF and having gone back to work now it is definitely more tiring to get up in the night and then get up early for work than look after our baby, but she is out first and was also fairly easy after the first 3 months (although always been an awful sleeper!)

It's a very individual thing, just need to make sure you are both pulling your weight I think

I breastfed but generally I fed her then DH winded her/settled her/rocked her back to sleep. Yes he had to be up for work but I had to look after a baby all day! She would only nap while being pushed in the pram or being driven around in the car so I couldn't sleep when she slept.

I did all night feeds, but dd would go down about 11pm wake about 4 then 8, once a week on one of dhs days off he would do the 4am feed and still get another night interruption free and with a lay in
