hatperson gets exam results tomorrow

not sure what the point of posting this is. it's a bit self indulgent. but truth is I daren't tell anyone in rl (apart from dh and lifelong bf) so that I give myself time to compose myself if it's bad news. which it seriously might be. I'm a clever gal in the scheme of things (tho i say it myself ) but have never done anything as bluddy hard as I did last year. I put my heart and soul into it. I wreaked havoc on my family life. Whatever the results I wouldn't be suprised if there's a tear or two in my eyes. I have no idea how I'll sleep tonight. I feel worse than the night before my first exam.

bloody hell, they must have sent them 2nd class. tight gits. You'd have thought those extortionate fees would have stretched to the difference between a first and second class stamp. I even accosted the post man. so another sleepless night awaits

they should be in the post tomorrow - we got an email yesterday saying they'd been posted. and apparently no results will be given by phone or email.

DISTINCTION! I am gobsmacked. dd1 looked at me as I howled my way down the street to school, having accosted the post man (again), and said "mummy, are you laughing or crying?" I've never wanted something quite this much.

No idea who you are or what you got your distinction in (do tell me!) but your obvious joy in your achievement is very refreshing - well done you, congratulations, celebrate and be very proud of yourself!

Was just wondering where you'd got to on our running thread. Obviously you've had your mind on other things.

thanks everyone. I'm dying to know what my friends got - we were exchanging trepiditious (I made that up, didn;t I?) emails over the last couple of days, but now it's all gone silent. I desperately hope they got what they wanted - or better - we were in study groups together and helped each other along so much, and I feel we all deserve to have done well. webcrone - it's a masters in international law (which probably no-one else knows/remembers either...)
