Mixed baby looks all white?

Hello

I have a mixed baby boy he is half jamacian and half white english. My ex (his dad) is very dark. When he was born (10 weeks early) he had jaundice so he looked dark but when he overcame it he started to get pale and now he is almost my color (im very pale) he also has dark blue eyes and mid brown hair (straight) my ex is now denying he is the father but for some reason refuses a dna (I don't think he wants to think hes the dad) he refuses to take the child out of embarrassment and says that he doesn't even have a big nose like him!

I haven't slept with anyone else, I'm just feeling lost and im made out to be a cheat to everyone I know. He is 3 months and aside from family no one has seen him yet as i know they will question if he is the dad when he is! Anyone else had this? This is my little one

Shame on you! This baby is identifiable from his picture!! He is a person in his own right. I think this thread is despicable.

Take the picture of your baby off this thread and show some respect for him and his safety. For goodness sake!!!

I get asked if I'm my baby's nanny at least twice a week! She's white blonde hair brightest blue eyes ever. I'm mixed race but quiet dark. It took me months to believe she was mine I though they swapped her at the hospital

if he has serious doubts then he should take a dna test! however a lighter skinned child is very common especially if anywhere down the line he has mixed heritage.

a friend of mine is very dark and has African heritage, her husband is white and their daughter is also white. her sister has also marries a white man and her kids girls all have their mum's colouring but her son is white. genetics = luck of the draw

He's gorgeous. I could eat him! My niece is the daughter of a very pale Englishman and a very dark Filippina. She was born whiter than white, 3 years later she is very dark and her Filipino origins have become obvious. Enjoy your baby and get his father to take responsibility.

My DS is mixed race. His eyes were blue for a few months and his skin lighter than my white skin.

He now has deep brown eyes and skin whicH is pale right now but goes very dark quickly in the sun.

I am mixed Asian (fair as Asian skin goes) and Celtic ... I'm white as a sheet. I have to explain I'm not an in law at weddings etc.

much like wilds gorgeous boy a boy in my sons class has a mixed race mum and white dad he Is very pale with gorgeous blonde curly hair I also used to be friends with two sisters whose dad was mixed race and mum white the older sister was dark skinned with afro hair and brown eyes and younger sister was very pale with red hair and blue eyes genetics are a funny thing.

Thinking about it, I know 4 sets of siblings where one looks white and the other black.
So it wouldn't occur to me to question the heritage.

I know this post is from a log time ago but I have a 12 day old baby who is the spitting image of your baby. Mines half white half Jamaican. I’m getting a lot of comments about how white he is. Slightly darker than me but I’m very pale. He has my blue eyes and mousey coloured hair. I’m getting really annoyed at the comments, really can’t help but think that my partner is going to start questioning things. Hope things worked out with his dad. Here is my boy x

My newborn son also has a dark Jamaican father, and I'm white. He looks white too. He has straight jet black hair, grey eyes, and his dads nose, but his skin is white. I was expecting him to be darker like his dad, but also not completely surprised. Biracial babies aren't always a mix of both parent's skin colours. And jamaicans tend to be of mixed heritage anyway, so his father probably has some white ancestry himself.

I am mixed race and my DS’s dad is white. My DS is a redhead and has the whitest skin you’ve ever seen 😂 he burns easily and looks nothing like me.
It’s not as rare as you think, I also know several mixed race parents who have gone on to have very pale babies.

I’m half Jamaican half english,my partner is half engliah half Pakistani meaning baby is half English, quarter Pakistani and quarter Jamaican. We are both brown so to speak with practically black hair.
You can tell baby is mixed although she has blond hair and blue eyes. Anything is possible.
