What changing bag do you have?

I have a yummy mummy one but I would like a bigger one.
I'm already struggling to fit everything in & that's with BF so I will really need a bigger bag for when weaning / on solids.

I love the black iCandy Emelia in black leather but it seems sold out everywhere - just as well at that price!

I would like one in that black leather handbag style though. Any recommendations?

I had a yummy mummy one , but couldn't get everything I needed in it. I got a lovely cath kidston rucksack which is way better and I get all the stuff I need in for two DCs.

WhyOWhyWouldYou · 28/01/2015 18:03

I just had the free boots one, so not big at all. Then I used a little coolbag, that I put in basket on the pushchair, for any bottles or food.

squizita · 28/01/2015 18:13

Another user of the free boots one! Good for whole days out with dd and dh when he may want to give her a bottle.

But more often - just for me/dd - either a Primark rucksack or a "pouch" (from a craft fair so no brand) which clips on to the pram or carrier with poppers, just big enough for nappies, small wipe pack, cloth. As I breastfeed and wear a scarf anyway in this weather, I can then carry a handbag and brolly.

I'm getting the Baby K one by Mylene Klass from Mothercare. That might be similar to what you're after?

NickyEds · 28/01/2015 20:18

We have four changing bags. Yes four! A massive Pacapod which is lovely but, as I say massive so I think it'll be more useful when Dc2 is born in Summer. A Baba Bing one which is DP's changing bag as it's "more manly" than the others and is a messenger bag so you can get a newspaper in it easily Confused. A little rucksack that's great for play groups etc when we won't be out all day. A fantastic one that fits onto the chassis of the buggy (Quinny one) so is really easy. And I'm going to get th Boots freebie as I missed out last time!!

ch1134 · 28/01/2015 21:12

Free boots one here too. Used it every day for a year and is now starting to fall apart.

gallicgirl · 28/01/2015 21:17

Had the free Boots one with DD and used it loads.
I've insisted on a naice bag this time and DM has bought me a pacapod.

neversleepagain · 28/01/2015 22:27

I used the Boots free one too and it fitted all the crap I needed for twins.

SASASI · 28/01/2015 22:46

Baby K bag is along the lines I'm thinking of but I don't do shiney finishes - thanks though!
Ok I have the free boots bag somewhere, guess I need to try it out.
Thanks!

I've got a black leather stork-sac. I love love LOVE it!

I don't know what I'll do when I no longer have kids in nappies, I'll miss it!

TheGirlAtTheRockShow · 28/01/2015 23:44

I have 2 - Cath Kidston for short trips, Pac a Pod for longer trips. The Cath kidston just isn't big enough for more than couple nappies and change of clothes but I do have bulky reusable nappies! Love my pac a pod - it's huge!

superbfairywren · 29/01/2015 00:17

I have the storksak tote in black and cream diamond fabric and it's fab. Really roomy but very light. Bought a cheap one online thinking I was being frugal and it proceeded to fall apart, within 2 weeks the zip broke entirely. So I sent it back for a refund and bought the storksak, fortunately in the John Lewis clearance! Looking for a smaller rucksack bag for trips where we don't need as much Still.

wheresthelight · 29/01/2015 00:25

I have a massive babymoov one that I love!!! it fits everything including the kitchen sink in so is brilliant for ff and weaning.

I also have a small satchel type one for short trips and a yummy mummy rucksack one for days out without the pushchair although I am not getting as much use out of it as I thought I would so may look into getting rid.

Bluecarrot · 29/01/2015 00:28

I have the kipling gabbie bag ( linked below)
It holds
3 cloth nappies, wipes and wet bag
1 change of clothes ( tshirt/vest/leggings)
Sippy bottle
Small tub for snacks
Notebook and few crayons
2 purses/Phone/Keys

Not room for much else once packed with that stuff, but it think the bigger the bag the more I take with me. If I bring pram instead of sling, I put the nappy stuff in pram basket.

What do you all carry around with you??

I had the free boots one when ds was a newborn but never had much to put in it so gave up on having a changing bag. The ones in John Lewis are lovely though.

stressbucket1 · 29/01/2015 06:51

I have a pacapod too love the seperate feeding and changing pods!
Trinpy I take nappies wipes bottle and formula bibs as she is a dribbler change of clothes for both kids DD1 is recently potty trained! Couple of muslins as she is a bit pukey snacks and stickers/colouring for DD1 and an emergency sachet of calpol.
Lol sounds ridiculous when you put it all down I need a bigger bag Blush

SASASI · 29/01/2015 09:08

Loving the leather storksaks but again £££!

I might be better going the whole hog & just getting a big designer bag rather than a designer changing bag. Were not flash but can afford it & at least I could then use it forever rather than just when I have a baby!

I have a one from mothercare I wanted one that was like a handbag, it does have a bit of shiny stuff-the handle and where it zips up but it's got loads of room and is reasonably priced there's £20 off it at the minute too. I have an icandy pram and really wanted the change bag but couldn't justify spending that much I looked at a storksak too but it didn't seem to have much room I'm happy I chose this one.

NickyEds · 29/01/2015 10:10

I take:
Nappies and nappy sacks
Wipes (usually a pretty much full pack as DS is so messy!)
Full change of clothes
Bib and dribble bib
Sippy cup and snack
That all fits easily in the little Jeep rucksack or the Quinny buggy bag
When he was smaller I used to also have a bottle and carton of f+ shawl thing i used as a bf cover (he was mix fed), muslins and a second change of clothes (he was really sicky), several bibs- that's when the Pacapod was better.
I started off with just a bag rather than a change bag and everything got all jumbled!

Jemima14 · 29/01/2015 10:58

I have an Ecosusi diaper bag from amazon in red polka dot - i LOVE it. Its huge, it can be carried as a backpack or over the shoulder. I can fit so much into it & am always getting compliments on it. It wasn't expensive either!

My one is slightly different, I thought I would wear it over the shoulder, but its great having it as a backpack!

bonzo77 · 29/01/2015 11:09

I use a transparent wash bag from boots which holds changing stuff. Feeding stuff in a ziplock bag. Both shoved in a normal (though large) hand bag. DH puts them in a back pack or just takes them loose if he's got the DCs.

supersupersupershock · 29/01/2015 11:12

Anyone got a Babymoov?

I really like this

sunflowered · 29/01/2015 11:49

I've got a Cath Kidston one too, and find it can take about 4 bulky cloth nappies, change of clothes, pack of wipes, sippy cup, and my wallet and a book. My main complaint is that it slips off my shoulder so I'm not sure I'd keep it if it didn't hold so much stuff. I've got a little cool bag that I take out with food - it holds a couple of takeaway size tupperwares plus some fruit which is usually enough to get us through the day.

wheresthelight · 29/01/2015 16:37

supersuper i have this one but in black and pink and I love it!!
