My daughter is a great eater but I feel like I am stuck in a rut with regards to the food she is given....ex - Spag Bol, pasta with veg, cheese beano, pizza, some fish.... Can anyone give me any links or ideas of what new meals I can make Grin

I often feel like this. I can and do cook but really don't want to do two meals from scratch 4x per week. When I do cook for my 19 month old and 3 year old, I make:
Lasagna
Veg curry
Pasta Bolognese
Chili
Stew/casserole

A lot of the time I use ready meals and stuff I can just heat up:
Beans on toast
Jacket spud with butter, beans or cheese
Sandwiches - my youngest sometimes eats them
Fish pie
Cottage pie

I sometimes feel like this too, especially with lunch. I have been making an effort lately to try one new recipe a week that we would all hopefully eat, including my 18mo.
So we now have; spaghetti Bol, chicken and pea risotto, Fish pie, goulash (she loves this), pork, parsnip and cider casserole, Moroccan lamb meatballs with couscous, various pasta bakes. None of these take more than 20mins to prepare apart from risotto, and can be left to cook for a couple of hours if you've other things to do. Can message you any recipes if you want

Rockin are you after suggestions of meals you can all eat together, like carbonara or things you can maybe freeze and give for a quick meal like soup or muffin pizzas or things you can prepare as a quick meal for DD like sardines on toast or scrambled egg? Smile

What kind if stuff do you eat? I would say, assuming you're not living off ready meals lol, to just give them the same as you

Not entirely sure the OP is coming back lightening...Smile
