Wow what a busy weekend BBD! And how lovely that A was comfortable with your friend. Re the baby stuff you're selling, in our area there's a company that organises markets for used baby stuff in different towns each week. You book in advance and pay for a stall and then turn up on the day and sell, sell, sell for two hours! I haven't done one yet but went to one recently and picked up a few bits and bobs for DD. Not sure if there's anything similar in London?
Rosie bloody well done on getting that house turned around for selling! Sounds like your family have really pulled together, although your DM sounds like the exception. I really hope your teeth are better soon - it sounds absolutely horrendous
KK so glad you had a nice eve out on Friday. We really should get around to do doing something, even if it means having to pay for a babysitter. I'm with you on the lottery win - for the most part I'm quite happy at home, although have been lucky to not find work that awful in recent years. Hope you manage to find something better soon.
Cyclecamper fab news re the interview! How long til you find out if you got the job? Hopefully, it will lead to other things and a bit more money eventually, if you get it (which I'm sure you will). Your washing machine strike sounds like hell - hopefully it'll be working again in a couple of days.
I've been feeling a lot better since Friday but still very tired. Huge rows with DP today over his sodding bicycle obsession. Said he would go out for a ride first thing , then we could do stuff together afterwards, but as per usual he didn't get out of bed (he refuses to set an alarm so not surprising really) and only at 11am does he start talking about finally getting out, and given that he likes to do 50km plus, it means that the rest of the day would be taken with his cycling. I got really cross and told him the weekend can't revolve around his stupid bike (he gets tons of opportunities to cycle during the week when he's working away). All calm now, but he's admitted his cycling hobby is linked to his ego and is one area of his life he feels he can maintain some control so think we may have some work to do there!
We went to the zoo this afternoon in the end, and DD half froze thanks to her desire to keep as much skin exposed as possible - she cries whenever I put her hat on (it's an age 2 one, so can't be too small) and kicks her socks off then sticks her legs in the air once she's wrestled them out of the cosytoes thingy. I think the winter proper is going to be a bit of a challenge...
Sleep well everyone!
