oh Goat, hope you are not still up. Can you record this? Do you keep a diary if it? Can't help feeling medical profession need to take this seriously for sake of you and dp too - I don't see how you can stay sane.

Seaside lovely to see you (and your name) back on thread Smile I too am sorry dp still ill. Is he improving or at least getting good treatment? I hope too you have some support. Are you working?

Pudding is DD's constipation improved?

Evidently we are back to hfh feeding. Have also made a note to self to not ever think smugly "what could possibly go wrong with this plan?" Especially when we are down to our last nappy.

scarecrow22 · 06/11/2013 03:31

scarecrow22 · 06/11/2013 03:55

Hello again, sorry for usual rubbishness at keeping up.

We've had a chaotic couple of weeks and I never seem to have free hands to type.

Last week our heating went off on Monday so I called the estate agents to get a plumber out on Tuesday morning. The plumber came very quickly, but after half an hour of searching it transpired that the key to the shed where the boiler is was in my elder stepson's pocket at work 13 miles away. That was embarrassing.

On Wednesday the plumber returned. He started the boiler and water started pouring through the light fixing in the kitchen ceiling! He decided that a builder needed to come and take up the bathroom floor so he left. The builder came in the afternoon and knocked a hole in the kitchen ceiling, couldn't see a leak, decided he needed the plumber there. So we had no heating, no hot water and no lights in the kitchen.

On Thursday the plumber had a funeral so couldn't come, but we had baby massage and hung out at the children's centre for an extra hour to feed in the warm!

On Friday the plumber and builder arrived at 8am! The leak was fixed leaving no trace except for the 5 holes in the kitchen ceiling, bits of plaster all over the kitchen sides and shelves and the smell of damp plaster.

Friday lunchtime we started weaning! Baby camper was thrilled, he nearly bit our hands off. Grin

Friday afternoon we packed the 17 year old's bag and yomped across the fields of Surrey to make sure he got to the campsite to do his youth test. He is perfectly capable of packing his own bag but was having a wobble. He whinged all the way to the end of the lane to the site where we left him to it. Baby C was in the back pack on his dad's back and giggled all the way! Fortunately the lad passed his test (the tester took his asbergers into account, I think), so we don't have to try and drag him out again in the winter - he had to pass before his birthday in March.

On Sunday my friend came over so I could go in the loft. My husband can't go up the ladder or pass stuff because of his broken collar bone. We got the next couple of clothes sizes down as well as the cot. It's lovely having a whole new wardrobe for nye! He's now going into 3-6 month stuff. He's 6 months this week. The clothes are still big, but at least he has more room for his cloth nappies!

Sorry for the me me me post. I should be asleep since it's one of the rare nights when baby c has gone back in his moses basket!

sleeping going?

bbd how are you lady? Have you any 12-18 month long sleeve vests or sleep suits?

AFM met knicky today! Had a good laugh remembering how we conceived so close together and she was rummaging her boobs in the early weeks and doing a les Dawson impression and everyone looked atsleeping going?

We met in kew and there is a cosy pub that could accommodate some fab 40s I think. The landlord was a rabid tory but cool with the mesd and the food and service was good. What say you down in the south west?

I will tout dates again.

Fuck fuck fuck FUXK YOU APP! Really cross now. Addressed you aALL IN FUCKING DEPTH. .inclusing a hilarious poo story for scare, the second poo story I've lost.

Will just say to goat what scare said . This is beyond a joke. How about a sleep nurse? My impression is its in a grey area between sleep and digestion. A sleep nurse could at worst eliminate sleep variables strengthening your case with any doctor, at best work miracles. One has just done a miracle for a mum I know for £250. Can get you details if u like.

FUCk! There were words for everyone, cycle, eagle, lrm.

Blimey somewhere steady on....3 mentions Grin fecking app!

Baby somewhere is absolutely gorgeous. So laid back and an absolute dream to take out and about. Baby KK clearly thought his luck was in and did all he could to get her attention. Meanwhile she just played it cool. That girl will go far Grin

knickyknocks · 06/11/2013 20:16

goat agree with somewhere and scare, this definitely deserves further specialist help. You must be exhausted. I can't imagine how you're keeping it together. Sleep dust to baby g. You truly deserve a break.

scare night feeds? T having a growth spurt? How's his cough today?

cycle fab to hear from you. Flipping heck what a nightmare with the plumber and.builder. Lovely that weaning is going well Smile

blueblackdye · 06/11/2013 21:11

Scarecrow, how is Tom ? A sometimes coughs in her sleep when her nose is runny and all goes down in the throat. I have used some Vicks type balm to help breathing at night, it is ok from 3 mo, I think. I can check the name tomorrow.

Goat, DS used to scream for hours too until he was 2 yo every night, he would sleep only in his parents' arms, the sec he felt he was going flat, he would wake up and cry. I did not do anything then but spoke this summer to an osteopath friend, she mentioned that maybe forceps delivery created tensions and it somehow disturbed his balance and sleep as the flat position was not comfy. Tbh, I was very naive when I had DS, I just dealt with it and did not reach for any help, I should have. Follow your instinct and as Somewhere and Scarecrow said, maybe a sleep consultant can help ?

Cycle, passing cakes and tea over to you too

Somewhere, I will check on 12/18mo long sleeve body vests tomorrow or Friday, how many do you need ? How long is babyS ? A is now 78cm and only 10.1kg at 15mo and I think on average babies are about 81cm at 18mo. I used John Lewis 12m cotton sleepsuits until now (in general, I find JL baby clothes very roomy and long) but I moved onto 23m sleepsuits only last week, they are a bit long but at least she has room to grow.

Knicky, Somewhere so jealous of you meeting up, how nice ! I can try to get to Kew. Definitively for Xmas. I want to meet all these babies and their fantastic Mums.

Wave to all

somewherebecomingrain · 07/11/2013 06:53

DRUMROLL!!!!!!!!!!!
BG slept 6:30 - 3:30, woke for a brief feed then went back to sleep until 6. And DH did the feed so I slept 9-6. Feel like a new woman. Wow! I could get used to this sleep thing!
While I hope this is a new era, I am not entirely holding my breath, so yes, a sleep consultant may def be on the cards if things c

GoatBongoAnonymous · 07/11/2013 12:48

Meh sorry, klutz that I am...
...continue as they have been. Still chasing bloody results, everyone says someone else has them. Hmm

Re meet up. I can do first two Wednesdays in December if either fit? Or Tuesdays if better for everyone else, but would entail a little reshuffling of life Smile

GoatBongoAnonymous · 07/11/2013 12:52

Oh. Proud mum story, although this how's what a terrible mother I am, as BG was properly naughty for the first time and I LAUGHED. Blush
He was trying to post the kitchen brush through the banisters and I was stopping him. So he wandered into the kitchen and started opening a cupboard door that he knows perfectly well is off bounds. I was a bit surprised, as he hasn't done this for ages, but I followed him, put my hand on the door and said "no!" very firmly. Whereupon BG turned round and legged it for the stairs, where he shoved the brush through the banisters and rewarded me with a beaming smile...
BG 1, mum nil, I think!!

GoatBongoAnonymous · 07/11/2013 12:54

Bbd, was thinking of trying a cranial osteopath too...

scarecrow22 · 07/11/2013 18:31

goat no wonder are proud. That is super cute - and worryingly clever!! Bless DS.

You will find a lot of naughty behaviour - disobedience, whining, anger, ignoring you, etc - can be headed off with humour. Or more correctly I find that. Though maybe I'm not a good role model!

FX big time for tonight's sleep. X

littleredmonkey · 07/11/2013 19:39

Goat. Sooooo glad you had a lovely sleep. Good baby goat so pleased for you both. Clearly extra sleep has madehim extra clever. Making mummy laugh good boy. We all need to laugh. Baby monkey kept feeding our cat bits of carrot. Funny our little fellas

GoatBongoAnonymous · 07/11/2013 20:12

Lrm can your cat see extra well in the dark now?!!

Had a word with BG about sharing the sleep dust and sending some your way.

littleredmonkey · 07/11/2013 20:23

Cat is super groovy

somewherebecomingrain · 07/11/2013 20:49
