13 mo DD has nappy rash. Does not seem to be troubling her yet but would like to sort it. Which cream should I send DH to get at the supermarket tonight??

Metanium, definitely.

XBenedict · 02/07/2013 19:47

Bepanthen would be my choice.

StitchAteMySleep · 02/07/2013 19:47

Metanium, no contest.

PseudoBadger · 02/07/2013 19:50

Metanium for flare ups, bepanthen etc for every day. Wash your hands afterwards :o

GwendolineMaryLacey · 02/07/2013 19:56

Metanium for nasties, sudocreme for every day.

elsiewoo · 02/07/2013 19:57

Another vote for Metanium, and agree bepanthen is more every day, as is sudocrem.

FatimaLovesBread · 02/07/2013 19:57

Metanium. The yellow one not the everyday white one

WandaDoff · 02/07/2013 19:58

Bepanthen, & keep it in the fridge.

Pascha · 02/07/2013 19:58

Yellow metanium is the business. It's magical.

orangepudding · 02/07/2013 19:58

Metanium

Sarahplane · 02/07/2013 20:03

bepanthen. metamium made both of my kids red raw, weapy and sore.

Jojo3973 · 02/07/2013 20:11

Metanium! Do be careful that any toddlers around don't get hold of it though. My ds's bedroom carpet still bears the stains!!

hedwig2001 · 02/07/2013 20:12

Bepanthen works miracles.
Metanium adheres to the skin, so when you try to clean after the next dirty nappy, you can damage the skin.

mamijacacalys · 02/07/2013 20:13

Metanium

Loupee · 02/07/2013 20:15

Metanium hands down.

KnittedWaffle · 02/07/2013 20:20

Metanium worked on DD but not on DS1. I'd get both just in case.

CognitiveOverload · 02/07/2013 20:21

Metanium is amazing

CognitiveOverload · 02/07/2013 20:22

You should use baby oil or baby wipes to remove it though.

rundontwalk · 02/07/2013 20:23

Metanium.

ClimbingPenguin · 02/07/2013 20:54

what is the difference between the white and yellow metanium

nursery seem to have switched to the white one (DS is 20 months and we have to use the yellow one for nearly every nappy change otherwise we gets red straight away). Could this be why he has flared up more than normal again?

miffybun73 · 02/07/2013 20:57

Metanium if it's severe. Otherwise Sudocrem.

rundontwalk · 02/07/2013 21:01

Climbing-i THINK that the yellow is the original one & the white is a new, every day one brought out to compete with things like Sudocrem. So it's prob not as strong?

pharmacist (who i'm friends with not just any old one) told me just last week...

Metanium to get rid of rash

Bepanthan as an every day to keep at bay if baby is prone

Sudocrem never as the antibac can be more harmful than helpful on sensitive skin

reusable wipes with just water or cotton wool and water to clean dirty bum

Bare bum time to allow fresh air to help heal

If no rash no cream
