now the health visitor is 'concerned' about me and coming to check on me next week.

I am tired and very upset about dd3's hearing test - surely a blub is allowed?

don't worry about persuading HV you don't have PND...If you don't, you don't...my HV gave me a little questionnaire to fill in ( edinburgh scale do-berry) and was able to tell difference between totally knackered, overwhelmed, zombie-like me and PND. Just asks about whether you find anything amusing any more!!

hvae told hvs that I dont want to take the tests any further and that I found it too traumatic - they were pretty good about it although I have to sign something to say I refuse treatment..sigh

'is it your first baby?' said the hv
'no third' say I
'well first girl then?'
'no third' say I
'oh goodness and you are still soppy over her!'

wtf

anyway she did say at the end 'we'll leave you alone to enjoy your baby' which was just what I wanted to hear

Shock at your health visitor Enid. Obviously totally normal to cry 3 weeks post partum- don't think I had stopped by then! Just you enjoy your beautiful baby and hopefully now they will leave you alone Smile
