Anyone waiting for their OU exam results?

Mine isn't due until the 16th December, but Ive seen on here and on the OU forums that some have had their results already. Nervous and excited at the same time!!!

I am!!! Already manically refreshing even though it COULD be another 2 weeks...

Seems like alot are early - tho most seem to be level 1 and 2 courses. Maybe the level 3 ones are the last to get released?

Me too, oh don't tell me some people have theirs . Have they got the actual scripts back (mine was a 'write in longhand post it in' (maths) final TMA rather than an exam). The module page looks different now as well on the OU website, there's no right hand column any more where all my grades were before (or have I pressed a button wrong somewhere, you can tell me, I'm only doing IT at the moment )

No results today but I know of 2 other level 3 courses that have had theirs, I need some patience

Mine said expected 16th December but appeared on Tuesday. It was a level 2 module and I was really pleased to get a distinction

I just got an email; they said "Your qualification result will be available to view on your StudentHome page if you successfully complete your final module. Qualification results will be published as quickly as possible but could take up to 5 working days to process."

So for 5 days I have to wait thinking I have failed until my result is 'processed'

Possibly they shouldn't send the email until it is processed

ds got that email too Katymac, but he was one of the lucky ones who got his result early on Tuesday, so it made more sense, in that he has to wait 5 more days for the qualification (I think). To get that e-mail before the last module result seems odd, but the ou do seem to send stuff to the wrong people sometimes.

I got that email this morning too Katymac, still no module result though.

Nothing for me anywhere yet, bum.

Some results are out already? Oh god, I was hoping to stay blissfully unaware for next 2 weeks but now I'll have to pretend I'm not checking all the time.

Those who've already had your results, what courses were you doing?

summer residential, SXR207 in ds's case said. He wasn't expecting it until the 16th, so it was unexpected to get it this early.

My French tutor is off to Paris so I think she got hers done early so she could get off on holiday

SO what is the difference between a Qualification result and the module result

Qualification result = degree, diploma, cert
Module result = individual module that may or may not count toward a qualification

Oh yeah I get a certificate in Systems something or other....IF I pass

I felt fine about it till I read on FB that some courses which had results 'due by the 16th Dec' had released their results early! Now, I am checking all the time, even though it could be another 10 days lol! Blardy OU!
