There's a rumour going round that all the 16 Dec results will be out by the end of this week...

KatyMac · 06/12/2011 08:34

I passed mine!!!!

I haven't done an exam in decades

lostinwales · 06/12/2011 08:37

Mine are there now! My first 30 points Grin. I do wish there was more than pass/fail though as I don't think I'm going to get such a high percentage again. Right back to TMA03 on my next module (possible distinction on this course - haaaaaaa never going to happen!)

HSMM · 06/12/2011 09:17

Wasn't expecting that ... think they got me muddled with someone else!

HSMM · 06/12/2011 09:18

Trying to stop myself signing up for another course ......

lostinwales · 06/12/2011 09:27

Tee hee, I want to sign up for another two courses so I am having to sit on my hands for now. I'm part way in to a 60 pointer but there's a level 2 maths one starting in February that looks really fun...

Congratulations to everyone who has passed Grin

Tooodlepip · 06/12/2011 09:37

Oh God I failed, my level 3 module, no chance of resit, so I either have to try and squeeze 3 level 3 modules into 1 year or take 2 years, has anyone ever managed 3 level 3 modules at once, am I dreaming here, its a huge mess

gonna go cry somewhere...

craftynclothy · 06/12/2011 09:41

Aww Toodlepip Sad I'm sorry about your results. I think I'd probably take the extra year over the course but I guess it depends on your own circumstances. I know for me taking an extra year wouldn't make a huge difference (in fact I have decided to take an extra year rather than have 3 modules at once). OTOH if you were looking to go back to work asap, there's a big financial difference too (I'm lucky that I already have a degree and the last module I take won't make a huge difference to applying for jobs so can put it off a year)

lostinwales · 06/12/2011 09:41

Oh no Tooodlepip, what a giant pain in the bum Sad. Did you have an inkling that this would happen, or was it a horrible surprise? I am dreading level 2 and mainly ignoring the fact that level 3 exists at the moment.

happychappy · 06/12/2011 09:58

Sorry toodlepip, deep breathe and start again. It will be fine I'm sure

HSMM · 06/12/2011 11:23

Oh toodlepip. I could never manage more than 1 course at a time, but it depends on your circumstances. Good luck with whatever you choose to do. It's worth it in the end .

Aargh, toodlepip, what a bummer. 3 level 3s in one year sounds like a lot to me unless you were child-free and not working

worzelswife · 07/12/2011 10:33

Sorry toodlepip, that's rubbish.

Congratulations to everyone who got what they wanted.

I just had an e-mail to say my results are available. It's my final course for my Psychology degree and I have no idea how I did as I was really ill leading up to the exam. It was truly hideous and I feel very proud I even made it to the exam.

However, I can't open my results as dp has gone away till tomorrow night and I can't open them alone! It feels like a momentous moment because this degree has been such a struggle for me. I don't want to sit here and be upset if I've done badly, and be alone, and I don't want to get good news alone either. It feels like we should share this moment together. Plus I want to eat cake and drink champagne with him when I open them (even if I've done badly as it was a big thing just for me to get through it) and not sit here like a lemon with nothing to do all day. (other than chores)

This is torture!! I can't even ring my mum and tell her I've got the results as she'll be dying to know and I can't put her through these butterflies. I'll ring her tomorrow night and tell her then.

Good luck to those still waiting.

Flisspaps · 07/12/2011 13:34

Best of luck, well done and congratulations, or commiserations and don't worry - it's not the end of the world, just a new turn on the path, to all of you.

worzelswife · 07/12/2011 15:16

Ok, so I couldn't wait, I had to look as I just felt so nervous.

So I checked and I only bloody went and got a first!!! I'm so chuffed, I can't tell you.

Feel a bit bad that I'm not seeing dp till tomorrow now though. I texted him but know he'll be busy right now and can't phone back. Never mind.

Good luck everyone else

fraktious · 07/12/2011 15:17

WOW!!!! Congratulations! That's a brilliant achievement.

worzelswife · 07/12/2011 15:31

Thank you!!! I feel like taking all my clothes off and running round my house naked.

But knowing my luck the doorbell would ring or my neighbour pop round needing something.

Is it bad to sit alone and drink a whole bottle of champagne? Grin
