I have just banished them to the nearest playground. They are bored today, can't play together, but their friends are all out. They have been driving me batty arguing and whining. A friend is popping round for coffee and I am so looking forward to some adult conversation.

Paschaelina · 05/08/2011 14:13

Boy is fast asleep and hopefully will stay so for another 45ish minutes.

SixtyFootDoll · 05/08/2011 14:14

Mine are both at the local 'play scheme' laid on by our local council, every day 10-3' free of charge. Am so grateful, they love it.

mistressploppy · 05/08/2011 14:16

Mine's asleep too. I'm bored Grin. If he doesn't wake up soon I may have to do some housework

Lollyheart · 05/08/2011 14:16

Mine are playing on the move, we are waiting for nanny to finish work as Fridays we go there for tea Smile

PuppyMonkey · 05/08/2011 14:19

DD2 is picking up manky apples that have dropped off the tree. She pointed out that they "look like Mick" our neighbour. The funny thing is, they do a bit. Grin

DD1 is a teenager so I'm not privvy to what she's doing, but it involves iPods and Harry Potter.

Lisatheonewhoeatsdrytoast · 05/08/2011 14:21

DS is Sleeping...Bliss!!

Then as soon as he wakes...the madness begins once more!!

bessie26 · 05/08/2011 14:25

Both asleep. DD1 (2.10) in her bed (thank God, no naps at nursery this week so she has been cranky all morning) and DD2 (3 months) on me because she wouldn't settle in bed.

Grandma's just arrived to babysit so I can get my legs waxed. I'm really looking forward to it! Grin

Popbiscuit · 05/08/2011 14:51

Mine are running around the kitchen pretending to be chipmunks. Mental. We have just made violently coloured fairy-cakes and they were licking the icing bowls...e-numbers overdose.
Am just finishing my second cup of coffee then we are going to take our dog for a walk around the duckpond.

BertieBotts · 05/08/2011 14:52

DS is recovering on the sofa watching CBeebies after being absolutely terrified seeing a frog climb out of our drain.

Jojay · 05/08/2011 14:57

Ds1 (4) playing on the Wii
DS2 (2) in bed
DTS (2 wks) asleep in carry cots in garden.

Once Ds2 wakes up we're off to the shop and park, boys on scooters, twins in buggy, as we're out of milk and bread. Life is dull atm 'cos I can't drive due to c section Sad

startail · 05/08/2011 15:11

DD2 (10) is chilling out organising the very complex lives of her playmobile people.
Having been for lunch in town and buying paint for her room.
DD1 (13) is away with the guides and I'm missing her.

mumeeee · 05/08/2011 17:40

DD1 is in Thailand with her DH. DD 2 is working at Chessington World of Adventures and DD3 is on her way back from a trip away with a youth theatre group,

statueofliberty · 05/08/2011 17:43

DS is on trampoline with a friend ,Dd is on guide camp,it feels very odd.

LawrieMarlow · 05/08/2011 17:43

DS (7) and DD (5) have just been having a bath and are now playing on the Wii together. A rare day with quite a lot of sibling harmony (long may it last)

megkat · 05/08/2011 17:44

DD1 is reading/being bored. DD2 is playing with a friend in her garden. Been at the park all afternoon.

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 05/08/2011 17:45

DS2 (4 months) is BFing.

DS1 (3) is playing with his lego.

ellesabe · 05/08/2011 18:11

Dd is in the bath. What is the point of this thread??

lookatthatmess · 05/08/2011 21:33

Thanks everyone for your replies. I was bored earlier, that's why I started this thread. It's been interesting to read.

At the moment my son is sleeping.

When you started the thread I was sleeping and he was playing cars/doing puzzles with his Daddy.

Why does it need a point? And why reply if you think it's pointless? Hmm

kittensliveupstairs · 06/08/2011 11:42

Bit late, but DD is currently finding out whether she likes Vimto or not. She is a strange child and has been mixing it in varying degree of dilution.

BirdyBedtime · 08/08/2011 13:59

Mine are at home with DH who just texted me to say they'd both been sent to their rooms for fighting over a cuddly toy - one is 6 and the other 2! Glad I'm at work (and have time to MN!).
