The baby arrives. A name has been chosen and yet, for the rest of his/her childhood years, they will be called something completely different. These names 'just happen.'
DS1 is Bubble
DS2 is Bodo (after a footballer, apparently) or Hubbachup Bear (where did that come from?)
DS3 is Footle or Charlie Brown.

Which/what alternative names have you given your littlies? And why?

my dsi is called SPUD i have no idea why!or babes.
My ds2 is called GROTBAG! OR SHITBAG!!!Depending on what destruction he has caused!
My sister1 calls s1 pumpkin pie,and s2 hassnt got a nickname off her yet as she doesnt want to be too nasty!- as i have said depends on what chaos he has caused, so most of the time she calls him by his full name.
Mum calls s1 darling,s2 little angel - purely becaus ehe isnt, and has one of those devil in disguise faces!
Nan calls s1 munchkin and s2 pumpkin.
Me and sister were nicknamed sugerpuff and cornflake by grandad, still to this day do not know why....!
The thing about these names is i have tried to get names that no1 can shorten,i hate it when people shorten my childrens names, but at the same time we give them a nickname anyway!
Oh well i tried!!
My younger sis we call her flee bag, flee because it rhymed with her name and bag because when shre was in the infants she always had lodgers- iykwim!:0
Brother is called ry-sz- bobos! and he is 12! not to impressed with that!lol
