how long were you with your partner before you had your son or daughter and did your relationship last?

Hi ladies,

This is just a nosey thread really, just wondering how soon after you got with your partner did you fall preg with your son/daughter and if you are still together? I fell preg with my daughter about 6 months after i got with her dad. We're not together now but i wouldn't change my girl for the world :) xxxx

Already had ds and dd when we met.
Met in 2000 but were friends until started dating in 2001.
2003 had dd2
2004 got married
2010 had dd3
2011 due dd4

Still together and very happy.

Were married 17 years before we had DS in 2009. Still together.

So we had been together for nearly 3 years when DS1 was born because I was 18 when we got together and 21 when DS1 was born.

We have been together 20 years now and married for 18 years :)

I got pregnant 3 months after starting relationship with my DH. We have been for 4 years together and now have two children.

2011 still together and still v happy

Met online in 2001 , bought a house together in 2002, married in 2004 and our gorgeous DD was born in Oct 2010. Had loads of fun and holidays, then started trying for our girl. Things were tough to start with after the birth but things are truely perfect now

So 10 years together and going through a slight rough patch at the moment but going strong and not giving up...
would have been TTC but holding off

Met September 2006 but both of us were with other people although it was lust at first sight

both split up with exes and we were friends for ages then got it together January 2008.

I was pregnant by August 2008, sort of planned - ie we wanted a baby together but didn't expect it to happen so quickly!

DD born May 2009

And we just got married :o

I have a DS as well aged 4.10 from a previous marriage who he has taken on as a stepson.

DS was born almost exactly a year after FIL died - one regret is that we never told him we were trying to concieve - it might have persuaded him to take better care of himself, rather than just giving up.

We had been together for 4.5 years (married for 6 months) when we had DS1. DS1 is now 8.5 and we are still together (and also have DS2 and DD)

XH:-4 years dating
2.5 years married & DS arrive
18 months later split.

(met far far too young thou at 17)
