how long were you with your partner before you had your son or daughter and did your relationship last?

Hi ladies,

This is just a nosey thread really, just wondering how soon after you got with your partner did you fall preg with your son/daughter and if you are still together? I fell preg with my daughter about 6 months after i got with her dad. We're not together now but i wouldn't change my girl for the world :) xxxx

Still very much together and in love.

Engaged after 3 months, married 6 months after that. Dc1 arrived 6 months later. Dc2 20 months after that. So single to family of 4 in exactly 3 years (to the day :) )
And still together nearly 12 years later. And planning to be for decades to come!

10 years and yes we are still together.

We were 23 & 21 so very very young when we got together. Too young for kids.

We had an awsome life, fab holidays, did up wrecked houses.
Then we were both ready, got wed and 3 years later had ds.

Known DH for 15 years, married for 12 in April. Two children - oldest is just 6.

He is still referred to as DH - for now ..

I became pg 8 weeks into the relationship (I often lie about this and add on several months ) and we've been together 7 years now and married for 4 years (I just had to ask my DH how long we'd been married and we realised we forgot our anniversary AGAIN, for the 4th time!).

9 years. (4 years after wedding)

Still together and happy now (although DS2 nearly broke us )

Moved in after 6 months, fell pregnant with dd 2 years and 10 months after we got together. Have been together 4 years now and are very, very happy

wow its so nice to hear so many people still together with their partners, sadly it seems the norm round here for parents to be seperated. I'd love to have more children preferably before i am 30. (i'm 27 now) and i have recently started seeing someone so maybe my wish will come true if all goes well. don't worry though i'm not in a rush just yet i need to make sure he is the right one ;) thanks for your replies

Got pregnant with DS 2yrs 5months after getting together with DH, married for 1yr 5months. Still together, DS now 3.3!

Met 1979. Started 'going out' 1980. Married 1986. DD born 1999.

Still going strong!

together for 8 years before ds was born - he's now 11. still together

Together 12 1/2 years when ds1 arrived. He's now 7. Feel ancient! Have our ups and downs, but look forward to putting baby years behind us and things getting easier.

Starting seeing one another December 1990, and he moved in with me Jan 1991 - about five weeks later. I couldn't keep him away.

Got engaged Feb 1992 (so been together about 13 months) Found out was PG (planned) one week later.

Married July 1992.

First baby born Nov 92.

11years and 12 years so far.

Together about 2 years before DD was born. Still together now, it's been 5 years.

My parents were together for 3 months before they got pregnant with me. They separated after 24 years but have just got back together again...
