how long were you with your partner before you had your son or daughter and did your relationship last?

Hi ladies,

This is just a nosey thread really, just wondering how soon after you got with your partner did you fall preg with your son/daughter and if you are still together? I fell preg with my daughter about 6 months after i got with her dad. We're not together now but i wouldn't change my girl for the world :) xxxx

Met jan 2004, he moved in after 3 days.
DD2 born march 2005.
DD3 September 2007.
DD4 October 2008.

married in the march
moved from derbyshire to hertfordshire in the may
ds1 was born the following may
ds2 was born 15 months later

and yes, we're still together.

this march will be 13 years.

met at my sisters hen night 1999

got pregnant in the first week Blush

we got married

went on to have two more children and would have been together forever if he hadn't died in a car crash in 2009

Met July 1995, married July 1996, DS1 born May 1997. Still together with 3 more DS.

Met in 2003 married in 2004 and had daughter in 2008. TTC no 2 this year. We have been married 7 years this year and we are still both only 26.

I met my DH in 1992, married in 1997 and we had DD1 in 2005 and DD2 in 2008 with a m/c between the two.

Still going strong now.

We got together in september 2005 and fell pregnant in october 2005 Blush. We are still together, and about to get married. Grin

Was with Dp 5 months when I got pregnant with ds1. But then on our first "date" I stayed at his apartment and never actually left so everything went pretty fast.

Ds2 came along 17months later.

Dp and I are still going strong and only one over the top argument to date. (nearly 3yrs)

We were together 5 years before DS1 was born.

We are still together now and he is 7.

Got together March 1993, got married April 1998, had DD1 in 2001, DD2 in 2003, still together despite tough times and stronger than we ever were.

He already had two sons from a previous relationship and they have always lived with us.

We were together 16 years before DD arrived, and we are still together 7 years and a DS later.

Met DH in 2005
Moved in a year to the day of our first date in 2006
Got engaged 6 months later
Married in 2008 when I was 6 weeks pg (planned)
Had DD in middle of 2009
Sadly had an mc early this year, but we're gently TTCing again

So far so good. Our relationship has envolved very steadily and the biggest change has definitely been us becoming parents. I was 19 when I met DH and am 25 now so people do comment that we're "young" to have all this under our belt (DH is 10 months younger than me) but it's worked well for us as yet!

Met in 89. Married in 91. First pregnancy in 95, miscarried. Second pg 97, mc. Third pg 99, mc. Fourth pg 2001, dd. Fifth pg 2005, mc.

Despite all the trials and tribulations, still together and happier in some ways than when we first met.

Married June 98
Ds1 born Dec 03
ds2 born Oct 09

So, married 5.5 years before ds1 was born, and still married 7 years later. And no plans on that changing!
