In fact am still halfway through Jane Eyre Hmm. I've read it many times before, but need to reread it to find scenes to use in my argument.

And few critics' essays to read.

So here I am, even though I promised myself I would never leave it late like this ever again.

So, dear MNetters, again I have to ask you to kick my arse.

I'm in my 4th and final year of psychology degree and am drowning in work, deadlines fast approaching, but I just can't seem to get it together at all. I have 10 days to do about a months worth of work, and the kids schools have been closed for the last week.

Its all gone to pot and I a good kick up the arse.

BonniePrinceBilly · 08/12/2010 00:36

ffs, missing words and typos! Theres no hope for me at all!

Ooooh, that sounds very interesting.

I imagine it's a bit of a nightmare sifting through all the theories etc. How many words? If only 1500, I don't think you're supposed to consider more than a two or three viewpoints-better to discuss less, but in depth, than spread yourself too thin and have lots of examples/theories but not properly analyze them iyswim.

I'm sure you'll do fine- you're just tired. Tomorrow's another day etc etc Grin

I'm off to read bloody Jane Eyre.

I haven't done anything either and DD went to bed 40 minutes ago...The essay is a mess, I don't even know where to start.

Good luck with yours, Prolesworth.

I managed to write out some quotes and then DD woke up. We went out for a bit, now I'm cooking dinner...I feel like I'm in the same place as yesterday!

Well done.

I've just sat down, DD in bed but DS has 5 minutes more of reading time (continental bedtimes here Hmm), so I'm on MN, as will have to get up and turn his lights out anyway.

I'm soooo tired, though...but have to get it done tonight (but as the tutor said that I've got 'a day or so' I'm taking it as I don't need to submit it by midnight iyswim, which takes some of the stress away).
