I really, really don't want to send this crap I've written, but I feel it's wrong to ask for more time an hour before the deadline. I mean, I already did do that (well, 3 hrs before the deadline), but I said that if he doesn't get back to me, I'll send whatever I'll manage to write.

He is a nice guy, but he granted me a few days extension on the last one already.

At the same time I got a decent mark, so he can see I am putting some effort in.

I did admit to procrastinating in my email and that DD was crying and I just couldn't focus.

Oh, I don't know. Why do I do that???? Grrrr.

Ooh - I was on your last TMA crisis thread too!

My trick was to stay up the night before until it was done. Usually about 4am - 5am . I would read through the next morning to make sure it actually made sense, and then send, but always, always finished before I went to bed, right down to headers and footers.

Hope your tutor is kind (sure he will be!)
