OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 07/03/2010 18:00

That's good. Did you catch DT?

Berrie · 07/03/2010 18:08

Nope.
Thanks anyway.
S'been a fucking awful day. Glad it's nearly over.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 07/03/2010 19:43

Tomorrow is another day ((( hugs )))

Hope you have a nice evening.

Berrie · 08/03/2010 07:49

Tee hee, sneaked a bottle of wine past him and had a mug of it last night.

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 08/03/2010 17:41

Did they find out what was wrong with him Berrie? Indigestion is a common one.

Berrie · 08/03/2010 20:37

He has chest pains anyway. He takes betablockers for it. When he went for a run his heart rate had been lowered by them so it couldn't beat fast enough for the running.

Hows things today?

Berrie, is dh feeling better?
Lyra, when does dp go?

LyraSilvertongue · 09/03/2010 17:46

He's on his way back. Been on patrol in Lashkar Gah today. Should be home tomorrow. Ds1 was in tears when he went .
Downstairs loo has been fitted ... By the dodgy guy in the end. It's not the most professional job ever but you get what you pay for and I saved £400 by getting him to do it. I can do the finishing off myself.

ghostofoggs · 10/03/2010 07:25

That's a good saving!

Off for my walk. It's really frosty. The bloody Twilight audiobook keeps playing the chapters in the wrong order.
How do you number the chapters to get them all to play in the right order?

Berrie · 10/03/2010 07:25

Glad you got the loo sorted.
Did ds1 know it was dangerous then?
What happened with the rugby?

Dh is ok if stressed/depressed thanks.

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 10/03/2010 07:57

DP had to take body armour so DS1 guessed that it must be pretty dangerous. DP's flight was changed so he was able to take DS to rugby. Good job as I was in no fit state after the party.
Oggs, what are you playing it on?

Berrie · 10/03/2010 08:09

It's harder to get things past them when they get older isn't it.
Dc were pretty happy with my airy explanation that Daddy wasn't feeling very well so he'd gone to see a Doctor at the hospital. In a couple of years I guess that won't work.

OP posts:
LyraSilvertongue · 10/03/2010 10:36

DS1 sees more than we think he does, but then he is 8 this year so that's to be expected I guess.

LyraSilvertongue · 10/03/2010 10:37

DP got back this morning just before school and the Dc were very happy to see him.

Berrie · 10/03/2010 11:28

That's good.

I'm now ridding downstairs loo woodchip. Yes, more of the evil woodchip. Happy days...
I've bought some lovely glass mosaic tiles to go behind the basin and will paint it a pale blue with a hint of lavendar. Looks nicer than it sounds.

Berrie · 10/03/2010 15:33

Sounds good.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 10/03/2010 18:22

Pics please

I'm listening to Twilight on my MP3 player.

LyraSilvertongue · 10/03/2010 18:26

If it's not an ipod I can't help you. there must be some way of renumbering the tracks.

Berrie · 10/03/2010 19:59

I've had that problem. I was listening to some Thomas Hardy book or other. Took me ages to work out the chapters were muddled. I never sorted it out.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 11/03/2010 06:59

Oh I can change the numbering easy enough on the computer. The problem is knowing what to change them to.
It will play chapter 1 and all it's bits, then rather than going to chapter 2 it plays chapter 10 etc.

ghostofoggs · 11/03/2010 07:35

Electricty off for a while today so won't be around until later.

Berrie · 11/03/2010 16:25

Afternoon.
Everything Ok everyone?
I can't think of anything to say just checking in!

OP posts:
Berrie · 12/03/2010 07:30

Morning.
Full day of work today. Oh joy!
Dh had his LFT's done again yesterday. In theory he could have a drinky until he sees the Doctor next week to get his results and find out the good/bad news.
I don't think I really like drinking any more though makes me feel crap.
Do you have any plans for Mother's Day?

Hope that you have a lovley day.
