Hellooooooo!

That's crap, Berrie. Sorry you lost your grandad. Were you close? DH was, ahem, very insensitive
Oggs, what's up? I can understand if you don't want to talk about it but I'm available if you want to vent. Chances are I've been through the same/similar thing. You know where to find me.
Un-MN-like (((hugs))) to you both.

Berrie · 27/03/2010 10:10

Oh dear we are in a state.
I really do appreciate you two being here you know.

Things are better here today. The funeral will be after Easter since there needs to be a postmortem as the death is unexplained. I think I'll go up with my brothers and sister rather than take the family.
We were not very close any more but when we were little, before our Dad left us, we were our grandparents first Grandchildren and we saw a lot of them. I think my grief is tied up in a lost family life and a lost family really. I'm also very upset for my Dad.

Thinking of you Oggs.

How are you doing today, gals?

Berrie · 29/03/2010 09:14

Morning!
More marital strife yesterday I'm afraid. Ok now though I think.
What are your plans for the holidays? I neeed to make some plans for dyas out. Shame about the weather though.
Did you watch the Dorothy thing? I've only seen the first so far.

We are coming down to Db's this Easter. Ds really wants to see a dinosaur museum so I am trying to tie in a trip to the NH museum with our visit. It will probably bee rather hellish Easter weekend though.

Morning.
I dreamed that Oggs lived 3 doors down. We went round but they were not very friendly so we left.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 31/03/2010 16:54

Hello

Sorry we weren't very nice in your dream. We are friendly really. Honest injun.

Hope you're both well.

Berrie · 31/03/2010 17:01

Tee hee.
Dh was telling some long and amusing story. he hadn't noticed neither of you were smiling. I had to drag him away.
Hope you are OK.

Hello!
I've barely been on MN for a while. Been spending a lot of time at the Muse forum chatting to other music fans and some from another band's site in the US who came to see what all the fuss is about. It was fun chatting and exchanging music. Got a few of them converted
What are you both doing in the Easter hols? School finishes early tomorrow but I've got nothing planned yet. The weather here is grim with no let-up on the horizon so we may be stuck indoors a lot.
I really want to emigrate to somewhere warm. So sick of being cold.

ghostofoggs · 31/03/2010 20:57

Much better now thanks. Still some things to sort out, but back on a more even keel.

How's things?

Bloody snow!

ghostofoggs · 31/03/2010 21:04

Dd is already off. I have a friend and her dd coming to stay for a couple of days hopefully next week.
Other than that a few days out maybe - just to beach or park - nothing that costs much money.
Depends on weather really.

Berrie · 01/04/2010 08:13

We are already on holiday too.
Coming down your way tomorrow Lyra. Natural History museum on Saturday and Richmond Park for egg hunting, weather permitting, on Sunday.

I was hoping for a sprinkling.

Poor Dc. It's that time of year, they are suffering Jesus Christ Superstar.

What? You're going to see it in London?

ghostofoggs · 01/04/2010 20:19

What? You're going to see it in London?

LyraSilvertongue · 01/04/2010 20:33

We've had sunshine, wind, storms, cloud you name it today. typical British weather.
We're going to my sister's in Battersea on Sunday. Yay, no cooking!

Berrie · 01/04/2010 21:40

No no. I play it very loud and I sing it very loud.
I know MOST of the words much to my family's combined horror.
I bought a first bible for dc today. I realised I wasn't doing such a great job of explaining the Easter story when I heard DD explaining to Grandma that God's brother died!
Mind you, DS is not convinced at my efforts, him knowing I am a firm reformed believer. He doesn't think I can answer questions about God. Go on, I told him, ask me a question about God! Can he make a Nintendo DS appear with a click of his fingers? He replied.

Did you watch Doctor Who last night??? I'm downloading it from iplayer so hopefully willbe able to watch it tonight.

LOVING Fringe Berrie! Thanks for sending it.

Berrie · 05/04/2010 13:27

I'm back! We had a lovely time. We went to The Natural History museum and stood in a lot of queues and the next day we went to Kew for an egg hunt.

We are a bit Fringe addicted
I hope Dr Who has recorded!

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 05/04/2010 14:30

Yay! Glad you had a lovely time.

Sodding Dr Who. I was really looking forward to it but when we started it playing it had only downloaded the BBC logo-ey thing before it started. Pah!
I set it off again this morning and hopefully it will work this time.
Ended up watching an old Merlin instead.

We've watched four or five episodes of Fringe up to now and I have a bit of a crush on the lead .
I love it, but Dh is indifferent (as he is to most tv tbh) so I'm doing a couple of episodes at a time so he doesn't get fed up with it like he did True Blood.

Berrie · 05/04/2010 16:56

Bugger about Dr Who. We are just about to watch it. Could my Dh get it off the digi box? I think he could. Will do that for you if it doesn't work.

The bloke was in Grey's Anatomy. Seen it? I liked that a lot and him too.

Oggs, I have been having more strange dreams about you.

How was lunch at your sister's Lyra?

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 05/04/2010 17:12

Not seen Grey's Anatomy. He's ok in a cute kinda way. The crush is a girlie crush on the female

Dr Who says 17 mins left of downloading so will try it later.

What sort of dreams
