There seem to be a lot of hoax threads here, why don't the hoaxers go out and get themselves a life?

OP posts:

I must have missed it!

Caligula · 01/07/2005 16:39

tarantula · 01/07/2005 16:39

SoupDragon · 01/07/2005 16:40

How would you know the threads are hoax ones since you've only posted today?

Changeling? New Poster?

horseshoe · 01/07/2005 16:41

Do you mean like

"Help my tampax is stuck up my nose" type threads??

cook · 01/07/2005 16:42

Purleese, if you were pathetic enough to take your little boy out in girl's clothes or leave your child unattended then you wouldn't broadcast the fact would you?

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 01/07/2005 16:43

Come on , who are you? New poster, changeling or troll?

tarantula · 01/07/2005 16:45

Why not Cook? If you do it in public then letting a few more people know aint gonna make a difference is it? Esp as they dont know who you are

Caligula · 01/07/2005 16:45

What about brazilian waxes? Would you broadcast that?

GhostofNatt · 01/07/2005 16:45

Am hoping the hs and ps who shave their bits is not a hoax - has made the world seem much more stange and various than I had imagined

Caligula · 01/07/2005 16:47

pmsl GoN

Esque · 01/07/2005 16:49

You mean like "Men who shave twice a week and wear torn jeans - yes or no"? I find them hilarious and they make my day much more fun.

cook · 01/07/2005 16:50

What confuses me is why you would want to converse with people who you think do this kind of thing. Imo the fact that this is a nickname site rather than a name site means that people are far more likely to lie.......and just to prove my point, they do.

OP posts:
horseshoe · 01/07/2005 16:51

Where I come from their called Tramps

QueenOfQuotes · 01/07/2005 16:51

How do you know people are lying???

Caligula · 01/07/2005 16:51

Proof?

horseshoe · 01/07/2005 16:51

Well are you really a cook????

flashingnose · 01/07/2005 16:52

Oh cook, welcome to Mumsnet! I can tell you're going to cause a lot of merriment

horseshoe · 01/07/2005 16:53

People can use their real names if they like...

no-one is stopping them....

Except nicknames are catchier and can not be doubled up to confuse

HappyHuggy · 01/07/2005 16:53

lol get a life cook

tarantula · 01/07/2005 16:53

Im really a spider tho and have posted my picture to prove it . Take a look at my profile if you dont belive me

SoupDragon · 01/07/2005 16:53

All sites are "nickname" sites. You can never know if someone has given a genuine name or not. It doesn't make someone more or less likely to lie at all - I think you are naive to think that if someone has a nickname of "JaneRoberts" it makes them genuine.

HappyHuggy · 01/07/2005 16:54

and soupy really is a big scary dragon so watch out lol

horseshoe · 01/07/2005 16:54

T bet you can type really fast with all your legs...

LOL -

WigWamBam · 01/07/2005 16:55

I'd love to know how you can spot a liar just from reading a post.
