I'm meant to be putting a load of washing on (incl Red Ted) and painting my shed. And possibly putting away the non-perishable items I bought in Tescos this morning. I did put the fridge things away.

Me too sb34.... should be working.

meanmum · 02/06/2003 14:30

Same for me sb34. I've got a heap of really important things that others are relying on me for and I still haven't started. I'm expecting it all to come back and bite me in the bum any day now but I can't seem to get into work but I can get into mumsnet.

Mocha · 02/06/2003 14:32

Cleaning the kitchen.

codswallop · 02/06/2003 14:32

EJsMum · 02/06/2003 14:33

Should be clearing up the breakfast mess and ironing board etc but instead here I am....

P.S Just in case you think I'm REALLY slacking, I work in the mornings and so don't have time to clear up until I get home at 1.00 !!!

working working working, tiddle tiddle pom. actually have been quite productive today. keep wandering into the garden to say hello to the cows who are sticking their noses over the fence because they can smell grass clippings, count how many little berries are on my strawberry plants and check on the blue tits that are nesting in a small, eye-level hole in a cherry tree at the top of the drive... rural idylls, don't you love 'em?

codswallop · 02/06/2003 14:35

where are your babies?

Slinky · 02/06/2003 14:38

I have worked this morning - got home at 1pm.

Then I "tidied up" in the kitchen before coming on here to kill some time before collecting the other 2 at 2.50pm.

Unfortunately after a week of glorious weather and living on the beach every day - not so good today, so don't feel guilty about staying in!

nanny is very nice, very pretty, size 8 (on a water retentive day) and 26. why do you ask? in case dh fancies her?!! I've never worried about what the nannies looked like (could be claudia schiffer for all I care, as long as they are nice, kind, sensible and caring). I figure that if I have no control over shat any other women dh encounters on a daily basis look like, say or do there is precious little point worrying about the nanny. anyway, as we established on a previous thread, he really only has eyes for me and jeff bridges...

wiltshirelass · 02/06/2003 15:00

obviously that "shat" in my post was a freudian typo, and should read "what"!
Don't think I can manage Cribbs beetroot - is it this friday? what time? I remember following the post and thinking I probably couldn't go...

bubbly · 02/06/2003 15:13
