In case you're beginning to tire of the general Bubble 'Love-in' vibe tonight I have to say that no, I haven't been at the cooking sherry.

I want to say that while I'm extending my thanks to mears I'd like also to thank pupuce. Midwives and Doulas have different roles completely but pupuce advised me wisely during my pregnancy with the twins and I sure as heck know that, had she been with me, I would have had two baby boys now instead of one. We have had different opinions on some issues (Odent springs to mind) but if I'm lucky enough to get pregnant again, I would like to have her as my Doula.

That's all. Just want to make sure we don't lose her as well.

Agree totally. Have been considering the role of doula myself recently - not just yet, since I'm not sure being a doula is compatible with two young children, but one day.

I like Pupuce too. Let's have a big MW/doula love in. I wish we all got the care we deserved - but you more than most, bubble

I had never heard of a doula until Pupuce. She gave me fantastic advice and helped me find one for the birth of DS2 (10 wks ago now!).

Also she very kindly answered all my emails - and I had lots of questions!

Good for you moo! I'm sure you'll hate me for saying that when the morning comes and you're faced with 12 hours of child heaven ahead of you. But it's Saturday night FGS! Rememeber when that meant a night out and a lie-in 'til whenever you wanted to?

Sorry was out at christening of one of "my babies".
Bubble.... MW and doulas usually ahve one thing in common.... we want women to have great births which ever way... it is a significant day in a woman's life and anyone (MW or doula) who can help with that does it out of passion

And yes (I Personally) don't like gas and air but hey if it makes your day LOL

Pupuce, you were the person who really encouraged me to have DD2 at home in water. I honestly don't think I'd have gone through with it if you hadn't done so; and it was the most amazing experience. Thank you.
