I took it out of my handbag as I didn't need it, to save weight on a Ryanair (boo) weekend away.

Haven't seen it since. Looked in all sensible and stupid places.

Cannot bear to think our cleaner took it. She's lovely and the best we've ever had.

Thought my Mum could have accidentally thrown it in the rubbish or recycling but I've been all through both (yuk) and it's not there.

No-one else has been in house. If a burglar, strange one who left a mobile, a handbag and three laptops untouched.

Well I can tell you where mine was when I enlisted the help of the wise MNetters last year...

It was in the bottom of a carrier bag, with some old bits of paper and probably a Galaxy wrapper....

... in our local rubbish tip. Needless to say I never saw it again

Have you looked under your duvet? That's where my DS had put mine Little sod knew too - after I'd turned the house (and rubbish) and car upside down, when we went to bed, he reached under and pulled it out. Look! Grrrrrr
